My first game was in the '93 season, I believe. I was 9. They played the Flames and finished with a 3-3 tie, I think. I know they tied. I thought it was the most bad*** thing to see them come flying out of the shark's mouth to the "let's get ready to rummmbleeeee!!!!" song. Also how the place went nutty after a goal. Freaking awesome, and all of that is still freaking awesome today. It has never gotten old.

I can't believe someone went to a game during this stretch and saw a win. Maybe you can go again?

My first ever Sharks game was in the 95-96 season against the Capitals. They won 5-3 with 3 points a piece from Nolan and Friesen. Chris Terreri started for the Sharks. I think I was 8 at the time. I had never even heard of hockey and was blown away.

That started a huge phase in my life where I played roller hockey, collected tons of hockey cards (my favorite ever hockey card was of Irbe coming out of the Sharks head...I sat on it by accident and cried for like 2 days straight) and getting NHL 96 for the PC. I couldn't do my math homework but I could tell you the name and numbers of every player in the league at the time

Fun fact: After the Avs won the cup that year, I became an Avalanche fan for a bit and got an Avs jersey for my next B-day. Blasphemy, I know. I think around '99 is when I became a die-hard Sharks fan and got my first jersey.

holy ****, I remember that game. One of Friesen's goals was a penalty shot and Nolan got into a scrap.

My first game was March 30th, 2002. One of my favorite games of all time.
Sharks beat Columbus 10-2. Marleau, Selanne and Damphousse all had 2 goals, and Kipper was in net. That game got me hooked for life.

Live hockey games seem to have this affect on people a lot more than other sports.

I'll try to go again next season! But if all ends well for the Sharks, I'll be able to say that I saw the Sharks play during this stretch!

My first game was a few years ago against the Kings. It was a shootout loss, but it was a very good experience, since It had been so long since I had gone to HP for a Hockey game (Went for a few Warrior games back in the day). Now I've been to like 9 games and it's a great time each time, even though I don't take the opportunity to go down to the glass to watch warm ups anymore. I actually find the best way to watch the warm ups is at top because you just get to see more and the game is still pretty fast.

Don't remember my first regular season game, but I certainly remember the first playoff game.

Game 2 Sharks vs Kings last year...

(I redeemed myself because I went to game 2 of the red wings the next series. ;P)

Love these topics. My first game was in 2007, during the 07-08 season. In section 203. It was against the Edmonton Oilers....unfortunately the Sharks lost It was still cool though. On my way out, I walked past Dan Rusanowsky at the commentating booth Then I realized I had forgotten my souvenir cup and I went all the way back up to my seat to go get it lol Good times.

But my first time going to HP was actually earlier that year for a concert

The first Sharks game I ever attended was last year's Game 4 playoff game against Vancouver. That was the game when Vancouver killed us with 3 straight 5 on 3 goals.

And then a 15 year break before seeing this abomination a couple of weeks ago: http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/gametra...0120310_SJ@PHO

I think it'll be another 25 before I see a live game.

First game was in '99 against Vancouver. Sharks won 2-0 with Steve Shields getting his first career shutout, and Nolan got a penalty shot... which he lost control of skating into the zone and completely flubbed.

I tell this to everyone especially if they are lucky to go to a game where it combines a good game score wise along with an arena with awesome atmosphere. I have hooked many newbies that way. There are still a few out there that refuse to give this wonderful sport a chance based on the few times they have seen it on tv and due to the rules being confusing.

How would you compare your experiences at all 3 arenas?

I have seen the Sharks a few times in Arizona but my first time seeing the Sharks at the Shark Tank was March 22, 2001. They lost to Ottawa.

I couldn't find my ticket but I knew one guaranteed way to remember. I knew Owen Nolan got into a fight in the corner I was sitting in the first period so I checked out hockeyfights.com

I also remember during warm ups a puck hit the post and bounced up as if it was in slow motion and pegged a lady in about the 3rd or 4th row who obviously don't expect to see a puck that close behind the glass. I was mr. on the spot and ran up to the assistant at the top of the section who then went down to assist the lady.

My first Sharks game was in P3 compliments of Jeff at Sans Solutions. It's been all downhill since then, seat-wise.

P3, Seat 1, face value $115.00 on Dec. 14th, 2006. Sharks versus the Kings.

Went to my first (and only) Sharks game back in 2011.

SJ vs. Vancouver game 4. We lost 4-2 because Vancouver scored 3 5-on-3 goals in the 2nd.

I'll be attending the game against Detroit on Feb. 28. Hoping for a better result.

My first game was on MLK day in 1994. Just found the ticket stubs the other day.
