Rooting for Florida and Nashville. Yeah, I generally hate Nashville, but kind of feel like the Canadian media deserves to see them in the Cup Final after the whole Jim SillyBalls saga. For similar reasons I wouldn't be bothered by Phoenix in the least. As for Florida--I think seeing Kevin Dineen hoisting the Cup and doing what Doug MacLean couldn't would be great and would really drive home the foolishness of Mike Priest's "PI Test." Doing it down in South Florida while Lebron fails again to win a title would be even sweeter.

Absolutely want the Sharks to miss the playoffs. Hate everything about that team. Bunch of heartless wonders with the exceptions of Murray and Pavelski.

Hope the Kings make the playoffs and lose in the first round.

Rooting for everyone but the pens, flyers and nucks.

I'd love to see all three make first round exits so NBC, and Pierre especially, can choke on it.

I will be rooting for the Blues. I followed them from their expansion year right up until the puck was dropped at the Nat in 2000.

I made many a road trip to the old St. Louis Arena, Checkerdome, or whatever it was called at the time, and had lots of good times there.

I will even be breaking out my old Blues jacket come play-off time.

Don't you miss that here??!!! Gawd, he was so good at that. He would guard the net and just dump people on their ass. Thump! He's a big boy. He can thump. I'd forgive Howson if he brought him back. But he won't. Cause he sucks.

Not that far back. I'm not that old. LOL Dated a player. He said with my personality, I'd love hockey and I do. I didn't even know Columbus had a team. LOL And when I saw them, OMG...they didn't. Such a different style of play. It was like watching a swarm of bees. Craziest thing I'd ever seen. Wait. Still is!! We might be a lot of things but we ain't boring.

Based on the current teams in playoff position today it's Panthers all the way for me!!!!, then the Rangers (for those consistency checkers out there my final picks will be made April 7th...)

With Dallas losing to Vancouver, Los Angeles has just taken over control of the Pacific Division.

IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS!

I was always more partial to Hejda's "F-you" uncalled for hipchecks in the dying seconds of a CBJ win. It seemed like that was the only time he would really throw them and it beautifully rubbed salt in the wounds of opposing teams. All in all I miss defenders who can actually defend at least somewhat capably.

I grew up with Rusty, figuratively speaking; that said he never reached this fans expectation but in hind sight those expectations where naïve based on the organization. Rusty is one guy Howson should have kept and I backed him until this board prevented me from supporting him much longer than what I did...

Gotta stick with your convictions regardless of the mob…

Wow. Remind me to buy you a beer. You're alright. It's tough being a Jacket fan. We've sure endured our bruises the past couple of years. Looks like all we're left with is our pride. I remember when that made all the difference.

Phoenix went to 3rd tonight, I think, with that win. The cool thing is they are still performing while the team's future is in the air. I wish Jackets West well. I really do. I don't think they have enough to win it all but...go ahead...make my day!!

Rooting for Pittsburgh. Once the playoffs begin, drafting order is set and the Jackets aren't affected by playoff results.

I am not a fan of low scoring, defensive-oriented hockey. Its lack of creativity makes it hard to watch for me. While I can appreciate the discipline it requires, watching a team like the Blues can be a chore.

While Crosby might whine a tad much (well actually a lot), he and Malkin are the modern day Lemieuxs and Gretzkys. They can overpower their opposition and it's a treat to watch them when they are clicking.

Chicago is also a very entertaining team to watch, so if not the Penguins, then the Hawks for me.

I want to see the Hurricanes somehow manage to get in. Also got to cheer for all the Jackets in Phoenix. I doubt there's any way the Kings do worse next year, so I'd rather get a pick around 18-22 this year to potentially use as an asset.

Wait a minute....
How did this board PREVENT you from supporting him??

Drugs kill, Bob. Drugs kill.

I'll be cheering for Rusty and all other former Jackets who made it out.

Did you get mod censored for supporting 97 or something?

I won't argue, we could use his presence in our own end.

Reiterates this for Mayor Bee and whomever else makes up the 0.036 percent.

I think they only need two more wins to clear Columbus, or one win and a CBJ loss.

And if I remember my spreadsheets, Columbus is only two losses away from clinching the last possible spot.

I'm too much of a hardhead to get down by what someone says. I hate illogical thoughts and actions, not the people who commit them (like Bitter Beer Face).

Sounds good to me

I just can't wait to actually want this team to win again. If they bumble this offseason... I shudder to think.

Not sure why anyone is rooting for Nashville. If they go far they will be able to keep Suter and Weber, but if they are outted early they would likely leave. Same for Radulov

I'm rooting for the Caps if they get in, and if not the Flyers.
