The max he was looking at was 7 games IMO (the rest of the regular season). It's not like we should have been expecting a 20 game suspension and he only got 5. The ruling is consistent with the Bourque hit earlier in the year.

You keep on making very logical points...unfortunately logic is a 'tad' overlooked by most.

Well of course most people were not expecting a 20 game suspension but I thought he'd at least get the rest of the regular season. Maybe he was spared by being a first time offender but I'm sure that's of little solace to Vancouver who could potentially not see Sedin again this season.

I won't lose any sleep worrying about the Canucks.

Let's be happy that Benn wasn't injured on the play with Doan and move on.

Disagreeing with him does not mean I was overlooking his "logic".

I think you can make a case for Keith getting three games and Doan zero.

The smile does not mean I'm not serious, Keith's was intentional as he swung his elbow to make contact; Doan was reactionary and three games was only given due to his priors and I can't agree with that.

Technically six is the double of three. What you are saying is "in essence", not "technically.

I expected either two or three. I figured it'd be more than one but less than four.
