Still a lot to prove but maybe we finally have the Bill Hajt Jr I've been wanting for 3 decades.

Half of us are as excited about a Jets win as we are about the Sabres.

I just wanted a point tonight. The win (and the fashion with which they did it) is large. Squeeze two out tomorrow.

Montreal / Ottawa Game is interesting as well. If that score holds up things get mighty interesting as far as playoff picture is concerned.

The Caps just blew a 3-0 lead to lose in OT. We were never up by more than 1 that entire game and were actual down 3-2 at one point and came back to get a 4-3 lead. Then we gave up the tying goal late and lost in OT.

Sens are only two up (with one game in hand).

Hey let's play a game called semantics!

Team X collapsed from a position where victory is almost certain only to lose out on the all-important second point!

Winnipeg's 4th line!!

Miller. A wall. A ****ing wall of iron. With a picture of a crossed out puck on the front door. A ****ing wall of iron. Was that a 4th level spell or 5th level? Doesn't matter, he's level 20.

Stafford.

Ennis.

Foligno.

Pomminville.

Ehrhoff. I liked his physical game.

Tropp.

Hodgson.

B:

Ehrhoff. That turnover still sticks in my craw, eliminate that **** please. I get that you CAN make those sick passes, but with great power comes great responsibility. Watch Spider-Man, you will hear that 100 more times.

U:

The puck acted like the One Ring against those Rangers from the North, last of a ragged line. Long bereft of lordship. Good for the Sabres though!

Miller is a Wall of Iron.

Ottawa is in serious trouble. Look at ther sked. A rested Pens team tomorrow. I don't think Minny will be a gimme for Buffalo by any stretch.

Foligno continues to be hugely impressive doing all the little things that win playoff series. This kid has been fantastic in his brief NHL career, and shows me way more than Kassian did in many more games. For what that's worth.

Tropp was absolutely fantastic tonight. He gets better every single game.

I thought Hodgson was also very strong again. He seems to have busted out of his new team funk.

Vanek continues to refuse to piss a drop. If he could come back to form it would be a HUGE boost for this team. For a good while now, it's as though he has been out of the lineup with a bad injury.

Strong game overall tonight with some defensive lapses, but overall, a very strong team effort. Tons of good things happening in all 3 zones in this one.

Personal correction -- The multiple shifts where L-R-P had zone possession like it was a powerplay shouldn't be lumped in with "bad" simply because Leino couldn't convert point blank.

I love how they just keep their skates moving, and recover pucks so well.

When those three get possession in the offensive zone they just do a great job of working the defense and getting chances.

Hey lets play a game called having a grasp of what actually took place.

There is a HUGE difference between blowing a 3-0 lead and being in a back and forth game that you let go at the end.

Your interpretation of what I said =/= what I was conveying. I'm sorry that's the case but it is what it is.

Feel free to expand on your point because it sure seemed to me you were equating the situations.

This is true. And if not for a Knuble post with an EN they would have buried them.

Hunter put them in shell mode, so severely, that they Caps did not get their 1st SOG of the 3rd until there was only 3 minutes left. And Ovechkin still has not a clue as to how to play defense.

Who agrees that the Rangers are thinking right now: "It would probably be best if we don't end up facing Buffalo in the first round" ????????

If you seriously want me to I'll write a ****ing treatise and start a thread about it. Or perhaps we could agree to disagree on what it was I meant when discussing two blown wins.
