Do the Sens think they can do well in the playoffs if they act like the Bruins after whistles?

Indeed it is...which is why I am a big proponent of size. Especially on the back end.

He really is bad.
Eller is a solid player, he's just had very little opportunity to showcase it this season due to a lack of consistent line mates and little to no PP time.

He's going to be a very good player two-way player. I see him being as good as Plekanec some day, but in more dominant with the puck on his stick. If we can get a SOLID return for Plekanec, I'd consider pulling the trigger to give Eller Top-6 C time, especially if the Plekanec trade yielded us a legitimate scoring winger to stick on his wing.

Food for thought anyways.

When did Turris become such a tough guy, he's been throwing punches in scrums more than almost anyone.

If you take out all the games where Eller plays well, all you have left are the games where he plays badly.

You fail at stats.

Why don't we all wait and see if eller will be a full time nhl'er.

155 games played 45 points, -6
This season 72 games 27 points -5

Not Stamkos production for sure

Please explain your reasoning as to how Eller hasn't improved this year? As a 22 year old, who has more than doubled his goal production, playing mostly 3rd line minutes and going from one of the worst +- on the team last year for forwards, to above average, for the team, this year, I really don't see how you could justify that.

Just watching him play as well, you can clEarly see improvement.

Were you a Halak fanboy by any chance? Still upset at the trade?

Agreed.

But, i'd rather have 3 scoring lines so to keep our 3 centers should be great. We just need to sign someone...

I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt and hope he turns it around next year.. He as proven he can score in the NHL and since his suspension he looks somewhat timid and hardly hits anyone.. Lets see what happens next year..

This is the most boring game I have ever watched. The first 7 minutes were fun, now it's just dragging on.

Eller should not be used as a centre again. He is playing quite excellent as a winger when he is being fed. It has become obvious he want to be a trigger man and in the corners.
