Nice comment. Needed the first part eh?

Lately, his shot has been a lot better. It has always been hard, but he was missing the net a lot more early on. He has 4 goals in his last 12 games..for a defenseman that is pretty darn good.

A serious Habs/Sens rivalry brewing?
Sens cast the first stone. They had Chris Neil first...and they knew what they were thinking to themselves when they grabbed Konopka. Little did they know that we would get some pushback too.

This season is just like a freakin long opera. Boring till the end, yet, you still have some intermissions during the opera. That's what the wins are all about. We will go back to our regular programming tomorrow....

I think Staubitz has earned an contract for next year. I still don't see him as a legit heavyweight but hes doing an admirable job.

I know we need a guy LIKE Staubitz. Whether he's the one or not, that remains to be seen. But we need somebody like him for sure. I would prefer a more dominant presence but hey, you do what you can. Not sure that you actually need to jump on him and sign him right away. I mean, you can always wait in July to see what's out there....it's not like they will all be waiting in line for him.

I hope tonight's scraps can silence those who don't want a tough 4th line. Very entertaining game it was.

Send a message via MSN to WeThreeKings
It will be pleasurable to see Ottawa drop out of the play-offs for Buffalo or Winnipeg.

Loved how when we Kopopka hit Campoli from behind we not only had one, but two guys wanting to fight Konopka.

Staubitz has done everything you'd want from in an enforcer, definitely deserves a contract next year for his efforts. Can't say enough about Ryan White, the guy plays with so much heart and won't back down from anyone.

5 of their last 7 games are against Pittsburgh, Philly, Boston, New Jersey and Winnipeg (also Carolina has been playing decent hockey lately too), really won't be surprised if they miss the playoffs and I would absolutely love it.

PK spent 10 minutes in the box and still played 23:32 according to the boxscore on NHL.com.. Campoli lead the Habs in TOI with 25:01..

I'd try to sign both of them depending on the money they want. Play Moen with Eller and Prust with White.

I actually like it too. I hate the BEP, but this one works for the situation pretty well tbh.

The Flyers know we're tired... despite this, the next game is the "must-win" game remaining!

I agree. Moen on the 3rd and Prust on the 4th would give us a pretty solid bottom 6 IMO.

They'll be knocked out first round, regardless of who their opponent is. Easily the most over-rated playoff team in the Eastern Conference.

Do you guys think we should be looking for a 4th line centre in the summer, or do we take our chances with White becoming better at faceoffs?

There really isn't a whole lot out there, Noke, Halpern and Adam Hall are all sub 1 million options.

Subban 23 minutes with a 10 min misconduct for a period = an other 28 minute game. He's been averaging 28 mins for the past 5 games now. He's our best defenseman by far. He's the new and improved Markov.

I don't give a **** about his PIM, it's not a huge issue to me, as long as he shift disturbs in this fashion while putting up the points. Man is he developing into such a unique defenseman.

There is an all time pest thread on the main board and I made a list without him on it but now I think he might be one of the peskiest defensemen that combines skill and grit of all time, it's such a treat to watch him.
