Player Age Question

What date does a player have to be 29 by to be a UFA? I thought we went by the age on the site, but that is changing based on the player birthday (for instance, Semin is listed at 28, but is definitely an RFA as he just turned 28). Is it by July 1?

Sorry Rich, I thought this had been responded to. Free agency eligibility is based on the player's age for the next HFNHL season. Age in the sim is recorded as of the player's age on September 15th, so if a player turns 29 on or before Sept 15th, he should be a UFA that summer (even though he may still be 28 on July 1st).

If someone is updating the rulebook, I can prepare an update to the resigning free agent guidelines...there have been some minor changes to the existing rules

What about an HFNHL wiki?

I found this site that looks pretty decent... http://www.wikia.com/Wikia

We could start just by importing the existing rules "as is" and begin modifying it as needed
