Sens are not a good team at all, even if they will make the playoffs they are out after the 1st round.

Cause it's not the first time I've seen it from you.

I over exaggerated it though clearly.

I wish that Eric Cole was 26 and locked up for 10 years!!!!!! What an awesome individual and player. He is what we have lacked for a very long time.....a player that enjoys the game and always brings it, night after night.

He was such a Habs killer.

No wonder we could never contain him, he was a Force of Nature against us whenever we played the 'Canes.

Glad he's on our side now, I might just weep a bit.

I cry with you brother, right into my vodka and orange juice!!!! I dont know what next year will bring unlike the many scholars on here. I really feel so uncertain about it all.... I hope we have hit rock bottom but in my gut, I honestly don't know. I read all the "Fail for Nail" stuff and I hope, I truly do.... I have been down this road so many times since 1979 when I saw my Habs win a cup for the first time and I hope someone with a true love and vision brings us back to where we should be.....At the center of the hockey universe...GO HABS GO!!!!

He's not that good defensively IMO. I'd let him walk.

There are guys in Hamilton that can easily do what he does. When I hear his name called I wonder, who is this guy? I then forget and I hear it 5 games later and I wonder who is this guy?.......Cycle continues.

He's our best faceoff guy still. Why do we have such terrible luck developing anyone with faceoff skill.

We could go into next year with White as our 4th line centre, I have no problem with that. The 4th line centre position this summer is thin, the only upgrade I can think of is Halpern.

Seen what? Me say subbans shot is a shadow of its former self? It is, he telegraphs like a show boat. No one should be winding up that long and missing so much. If you can't take someones opinion avoid forums.

I don't know why he went back to shooting that way, but he has. He fixed it last year and the goals started pouring in. I don't think it's a permanent problem though.

Read the second part.

Never said I disagreed with you. I've watched him play since he was 14..I know his shot isn't where it should and could be..it isn't permanent like someone else said though. It will be worked out.

I disagree they are a good team, they are tough and skilled, they did everything they could to get back in the game. But 4-0 so fast it's hard to get back in any game in this league. Bad goal tending.

It's a nice break from the tank and the miserable season that is this year. Especially beating the Senators.

4th line doesn't take that many faceoffs anyway. I'd like to see;

Moen - White - Blunden

I also hope we can sign Whitney, Parise, or Semin.

WPS - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Bourque - Eller - Leblanc

Then I'd offer Staubitz & Darche contracts as the #13 and #14 forwards.

If we can't sign WPS, hopefully we can get Suter or Wideman.

If we can lock up one of those five guys, things would look great next year.

In order;
1) Suter
2) Parise
3) Wideman
4) The Wizard
5) Semin

I'd be interested to see what magic Desharnais could work with something like this though;

Bourque - Desharnais - Penner

I wouldn't offer Penner much money though.

I noticed something while looking at behind the net the other day (wich reminds me, I had never tought about that before noticing this, but it's kind of stupid that the faceoff stats puts together all faceoffs (special teams, ES, Dzone...) in a single stat), Plekanec is 56% (though behind the net only list the % of faceoff won while on the ice so it counts the times he gets tossed out and his winger takes the draw so it could slightly vary from that) on Dzone faceoffs (where we actually want a faceoffs specialist to excel). Same as Nokelainen but Plekanec is on a much larger sample so he's probably the one I would trust there anyway and that's only taking faceoffs into account, taking everything else, I don't want Noke anywhere near the Dzone if Plekanec is an option.

For a center on the market, I would target Palhsson this summer. Would be a signifiant upgrade.

I think he'll go back to Europe anyways.

Blunden is a must re-sign imo.

Habs win 5-1 Cole gets a hatty and the habs don't get embarrassed physically, but only 3 pages ?
