In 5 years, Hatcher will be 36 and with his style of game and recent injuries, I doubt if he's still be playing then, much less as a valueble first pairing defenseman.
Gotta take which road we are going to take into consideration. We might be rebuilding or in the middle of the pack in 5 years, thus making him still a big piece of our defensive puzzle if he is still around. Im sure at age 36 he'll still be good, this 1 injury id assume wont trouble him his entire career after this, but who knows
