Fair enough and agree with every single point but like I said it would just be for fun anyways

Ya, he wouldn't have the space and time to pick up speed as a forward. Most of you would be disappointed with his offensive display at forward I'm sure. Not that he'd be totally ineffective but he wouldn't be able to dazzle as much .

Not sure what's your point there. Couldn't care less about Kovalev, and didn't even want him re-signed.

Sorry if I offended you, not sure why you're reacting like this anyways because you even admitted to knowing you'd get lambasted for your proposition.
My point still stands, it would be idiotic to move the kid up front. He brings so much to your defensive squad, and you're sole argument as to why you want to see him up front is due to his stickhandling. Those are your own words, not mine.

Wendel Clark was a defenseman before becoming a forward.

Being said that, I still say no to PK as F.

Problem solved.

People need to give P.K some time to fully develop into the top tier NHL defensman he can be. People seem to forget that the kid just finished his 2nd pro season. Next year will tell much more of a story.

Yea no kidding you're going to get lambasted and for good reason, don't take it to heart but this is just a dumb idea.

just for fun...

you place Subban on the center or Wing?

who could be his linemate?

I seriously don't want to answer that but it would be even better if you more knowledgeable Habs fans would like to tinker with that one

Hey Jacques Martin, how is getting paid a million or two and not doing anything going for you?

Smh at anyone who ever thought about it. Just look at how bad defensively we were during his ten minute misconduct penalty. Here we have a potential hall of fame defenseman and people want to move him to the right wing!

I would rather see Kaberle as a forward as old and useless as he is. He might help on a forward line a little.

I'm pretty sure Dandenault played F in juniors. He was turned into a defenseman for some reason by Scotty Bowman.

This is a silly suggestion.

Subban benefits from the open ice he's afforded as a blueliner. He can make plays and stickhandle in ways that he wouldn't have space to do as a forward.

Nevermind the fact that Montreal desperately needed a great puckmover on the blueline. And a minute eater. And a physical, good skating, shut-down defenseman. And yet we're wanting to sacrifice everything Montreal needs because it might be interesting as a forward.
