-Hodgson has been fantastic of late. I believe this is the guy I envisioned us getting.

He hasn't just looked good or "not bad." He has been a great player, a cog for our team the last few games. I thought he was our best skater last night.

-Ennis, Stafford and Foligno just continue to produce. It's funny, because I really didn't like the line's game last night (relative to how they have played recently). The puck just wouldn't sit for Ennis. They still managed to bury and win the game for us, and that's great.

-Miller is just on. He'd have another Vezina under his belt if he played liks this all year.

-Tropp should never see the AHL again. He's looking like a legitimate top-9 NHL player.

-Leino and Roy played very well. Pominville continues to lead out there.

-Myers wasn't great but he hasn't stopped playing physically. It's good to see.

I don't think Leino is a diver, either. He's just extremely weak on his skates. Refs know that and don't give him any calls - not because he's a diver.

I missed this one. How'd we look? Did Miller have to stand on his head? Regardless, solid win!

One Sabres/Bills fan with a hilarious jersey foul last night.

It was as tight a 4-1 game as you'll get as it wasn't over until the Sabres got the two goals in the 2nd half of the 3rd period.

But, this wasn't Miller standing on his head, either.

The Sabres came out a little slow and the Rangers carried the early play.

But, the Sabres never trailed and it was a solid road win with the Foligno-Ennis-Stafford line coming up monsterously huge.

Could Stafford finish with more points than Vanek this season? That would be hilarious.

He was being used incorrectly before when he was primarily just being thrown out there to hit people, he isn't going to replace Kaleta. What he does bring is some sandpaper and scoring ability. Not to mention he isn't afraid to go to the dirty areas and into the boards. He has some nice hands for a person who is supposed to be a grinder. That + his speed makes him very valuable. The future is bright fellas!

He makes things happen off of his grinding play as well. Goes in to the dirty areas, gets the puck and dishes it to line mates. Love his play.

He's part of the K-Sly/Gare annoucing crew and they're done for the year.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. Duff is awesome, I'd hate to think of him leaving the Sabres family when there are so many places he could help the team's broadcasts. I'm looking straight at the color commentary seat after Harry retires.

I think he's been brought along nicely by Lindy. He's seeing some PK time and is getting extended looks in critical on-ice situations. His play improves as Lindy's confidence in him improves.

I've been on the Tropp bandwagon pretty much all season. He's a hard-working player with the kind of mentality you like to see out there.

I tweeted Duff not too long ago. I told him that he's great and should join the booth full-time next season. He replied and said that it would be an honor to be there.

I'm inclined to think they're thinking about it. Especially considering the broadcast survey they sent out.
