Part of that could be due to being down by 4 goals when he scored, too. Now if it was the goal that tied it up or put us up by one, it probably would've garnered a much more ebullient celebration.

it is kinda like when we get an ASS goal (arnott stat stuffer) down by 4 and the crowd still does the you suck thing. kinda have to know when to celebrate.

It wasn't nice for me to see...it was actually a little sad! I loved his celebrations. It's awesome and hilarious to see that kind of passion and enthusiasm. I hope tomorrow he scores and we get to see something like this:

I think he gets a bad rep from fans and media. etc because of the Preds/Ufa saga over the years, but it is what it is. From everything I've heard he is a much more refined person this time around and that should be no surprise, as that's usually how life works at that (basically my) age.

Yeah usually at 21 you're louder and obnoxious than at 25. At 25 you tend to settle down/mature more. He seems pretty mature from the press conference/interview I seen so far since rejoining the preds. I think he has handled himself well so far. 0f course, so long as he doesn't hurt any of our players, I don't care if he celebrates if he scores. I like seeing that kind of passion. His goal at the Pens game though wasn't the time to be having a big celebration though being down by so many goals. Not much to celebrate there.
I feel for Ufa fans, but I really hope he stays in the NHL.
well it's like you take away Stamkos from TB, there are some good players left in SY and the team is fine but they won't have such needed super elite first line franchise player next season

Maybe I've noticed something only because I, like most, have watched every minute detail of Radulov's game since his return. But... his blade seems to be on the ice a lot more than our other players. Is that just a goal scorers sign of wanting the puck? Am I imagining something that isn't there?
Also, watching practice, he can't skate a warmup lap without a puck on his stick. If he skates near the net, he flicks the puck at it. Again, the camera from practice followed him the entire time, but I didn't notice an obsession with the puck from other players.

He has great offensive instincts, and has the awareness to always keep his stick on the ice to either receive a pass, pick up a loose puck, or grab a rebound. The fact that he's always ready in case the puck lands on his stick is a very good sign for a goal scorer. It doesn't necessarily mean he's looking for a pass, but that he's prepared.
If a puck drifts towards him, he can also shoot it quickly -- a sign of a goal scorer, and one of the reasons he can one-time pucks so quickly.
As for his habit of picking up pucks that are nearby, that means he has a tendency to grab loose pucks and doesn't hesitate. He appears to really like fiddling around with the puck, which means he isn't shy to carry it around. It may be a part of his mental preparation for the game or just something he likes to do in order to get a feel for the puck.
These are the kinds of habits a goal scorer might have. This team has lacked a player of his caliber for quite some time. Certainly, it tells me he's zoned-in offensively.

It's something SK (I think) should've been doing when he was next to an open net and didn't, so he missed the opportunity. When I was 10 years old our coach told us to always have your stick down near the net. Didn't pay that much attention to Rads doing it but it doesn't surprise me at all.

You are not alone, I truly thought I was the only one who noticed that. Its the little things like that, that separate the good goal scorers from the great goal scorers
I used to get harped on as a kid by my coach for not having my stick on the ice. Then one game I had my stick down, intercepted a pass, and scored on a breakaway. Always kept my stick down after that I even tell my beer league teammates to keep their sticks down now
