No I am not, I discovered the band in the last few weeks. There's probably no tickets left?
No I bought one of the last available.
But ****ing hell, I'm so mad to have decided to stay an extra week in Portugal. Was supposed to come back end of July... There's just too many bands in there I wanna see: The Black Keys, Justice, Metric, Sigur Ros, MGMT, FF, M83, Of Monsters and Men and Portugal. The Man. Even Snoop, Feist, Florence, City and Colour. What an awesome line up. And I'm missing it! Yeah, first world problems indeed.
Do the tickets generally sell out quickly? I want to go but there's no way I can afford a week-end pass right now...
I believe Eminem's gig last year was the first Osheaga sold-out show. But we're talking about upwards of 40,000-45,000 tickets. I think it's unlikely to sell out this year, but then again this festival is becoming increasingly popular with people outside of Quebec.
Anyways, check out the official website guys (http://lineup.osheaga.com/). I think the colour/columns represent the days, so for example:

I think you're reading into it to much. I don't think they've planned out each day yet. Even if they have I don't think they would reveal it. I think it's just the billing order. By your theory Florence is playing Friday and the Walkmen are playing Sunday but they will be on the same day because they are touring together. Same can be said for Justice and M83 who have a show on Saturday together in Toronto.
Congrats to all of you from Quebec, this is without a doubt, Canada's biggest annual music festival.
Speaking from someone from out of Province, this festival is quite popular all over the country. I am from Newfoundland, and I live in Calgary, and I have a LOT of friends in both provinces planning on making the trip
Certain bands have already specified which day they will be performing on their official Facebook page:
Friday: Sigur Ros, Justice, Franz Ferdinand, Portugal. The Man, Amadou & Mariam
Saturday: Feist, Black Lips, Garbage, Young the Giant
Sunday: The Black Keys, Bloc Party (very probable)
Oh and Drake has announced his North American Tour for this summer. Not a single Canadian date.
But, he is free on August 3rd and 4th. That can't be a coincidence right?

You're definitely on to sometthing now. It's probably the best way to find out which bands are playing on which days. Either way, they're going to announce the day plans in early April along with a few more bands and artists.
As far as Drake is concerned. I'm not saying there isn't a chance he's going to be at Osheaga but he definitely isn't booked yet because if he was they would of announced it as he is a major draw and someone who would sell tickets (which go on sale tomorrow).

I believe there was speculation that Drake might be one of the main headliners, but I guess not. But remember in 2010, Snoop Dogg was only added in April.
Also note that popular groups such as Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, and possibly Mumford & Sons, are set to release their albums during the summer. The former have nothing scheduled for August, and the latter have yet to schedule a major world-wide tour for this year. I'm hoping they'll be added in the next few months.
Nonetheless, this is shaping up to be a top 3 music festival in NA.
kind of disappointing that Beach House wasn't booked, they've got a new album out soon (just recently leaked) and they were at Osheaga in 2010
guess it's still possible for them to be added though..
as it is, not sure if i'm gonna go this year, depends on if there's a day with enough artists i like playing...im thinking it's gonna be like last year though, stretched a little thin over 3 days (was better as 2 days imo)

I know it's just my opinion but I feel as though it is much deeper this year and am not worried about it being stretched too thin. There are so many artists I'm excited to see.

They'll definitely add several more artists. There are currently 65 acts announced. Last year there were close to 100. I kind of hope there are fewer this year to give each band a little more time. Either way there will be more acts announced. Would be great if Mumford played. Same goes for Edward Sharp. I definitely think it will depend on how many passes are sold in the next few weeks. If they sell very well then they will have more money to book bigger acts.
Drake is scheduled in Toronto on the sunday during osheaga...
There is hope that he could be add on the line up
I'm not sure that's the direction that the organizers would want to take, I've got nothing against Drake but his sound is a little more generic than most of the artists that are cast. Although eminem was here last year. Also it seems that Drake is not very popular in the province I virtually never met anyone that listened to him even with the hardcore rappers.
