Go to the game! Just wear something different to change your luck. My friend Charlie Girl and I had a bad record when we went to Flyer games in Toronto, we were 0 and 3 I think, and now we're 2 and 3. Think positive and go break the streak!

Awesome thread. Is it ok if I swipe the disclaimer?

Love Voynov and Martinez from their Manchester days.

Hoping for a clean, hard fought, injury free game

Just go! At least we know who to blame if the Kings do lose

I've been looking forward to today for a while. Going to the Clippers game this afternoon and then the Kings game tonight. Hopefully the Kings keep their winning streak alive!

Damn, I almost had a chance to go to this game in a box. My mom called me and said my step-sister had box tickets from her husband's company. Then we took too long to decide and they found someone else (we were just up in LA and it's a 2 1/2 hour drive for us to my parent's to drop of the dog). Such a bummer. If only it was a 7:30 start.

I'll be rooting from home! Huge test. I'd love to win, but lets at least get a point!

Gonna be interesting to see how they come out tonight. Hopefully there's no let up after last game because they can't afford it. Gonna be a physical game, kings gotta hit them hard and often.

Anyone know why the 6pm start tonight?

With a clippers game at 1:00pm will the ice be even worse then normal tonight for a weekend game with a basketball match in the early afternoon?

Clippers game is at noon, and yes the ice will probably be worse.

The ice is gonna be really bad. Good thing the Kings are used to bad ice.

But why did they mess with the usual 1:00pm basketball, 7:30pm hockey (or vice versa) schedule?

What's the point of the earlier starts?

What's your deal? You do realize that terrible ice does impact the game right? Most other teams don't have to deal with this bad of ice and when it does effect the teams play, I don't think we're out of line complaining about it. I know there's nothing that will really change but its damn frustrating seeing pucks go on edge and people fall all because of the ice.

East Coast BIAS so Bruins fans didn't have to stay up as late watching their team lose.

A) Yes, I am aware that ice impacts the game.

B) It's a personal thing that I won't get into.

C) The other team has to play on the ice too, no?

D) Do we need to hear about it in every F'ing GDT?

Yes but when you're on home ice, you don't want to have to play on ****** ice every game. The Bruins have to play only one game on this ice. We have to play 39. And I hope you realize this GDT is basically the same stuff every game so yeah you'll probably end up hearing it a few more times this year (not by me (until Brown falls on his ass)).

bad ice actually favours the Kings imo. They are a tough, dump the puck in, grind you down to create chances team rather than a flashy offence with fancy plays type of team.

I believe said poster has a "connection" to the "keeper of the ice"....also Brown falling on his ass isn't a sign of bad ice....thats a sign the game has started.
