still nothing to be proud of.. whats the record this year 101? im guessing worse than that..
ak spaling bourque line makes me want to vomit.. let me know when they achieve something other than an almost goal or lots of hustle
As the master of the nhl.com sort by network feature ....
3-3-1 this season
0-0-1 on RDS/CBC vs les Habs
0-1-0 on NBCSN vs NYR
2-0-0 on NHL-CA vs ANA & NYI
1-2-0 on NHL-US vs DET, PIT, CGY
Without Wilson in the lineup, its AK with Spals/Goose at center and Bourque/Yip/Toots/Smith at the other wing. At least Bourque generates chances of late. Can't really say that about the rest of the forwards.

eh, half of the points. not horrible..
yeah wilson being out we miss but im not so sure trotz puts wilson on the third line with ak when he is back

Urban legend here would have us with negative points in nationally televised games this season.
Wilson doesn't really fit anywhere else than the 3rd scoring line. There's going to be some juggling of the six wingers for those top three lines. For now SK/Erat and Radu/Horn are the wing pairings on the top two lines. We still have a chance of seeing AK slide up and either SK or Horn moving to the third line. Perfect world, Smith steps up his play at center and we put him between AK and Wilson for that 3rd line but he's not there just yet. Still inconsistent at the dot, gripping the stick too tight offensively, and thinking rather than reacting defensively.
agreed my ideal 3rd line would be ak smith wilson.. but with ak still adjusting to the system I'm sure and wilson/smith's play tapering off since the start of the season.. I give it no chance we see trotz put that line out as much as I want to see it, but I also understand his thinking
ak smith wilson ... that would be one of the best 3rd lines in the NHL imo .. (offensively)

Bourque seems the likeliest choice to move to the 4th line when Willy is ready. Willy with Rads or Willy with AK either way places a lot of offensive skill and instinct on a line. Don't think Smith has or will engender enough trust this season for Trotz to put him with Willy and/or AK. Barring injury, Spaling and Goose are your 3rd and 4th line centers. Trotz will hold out as long as he can before splitting up 74-12-10. It's a last resort move, based on his comments.
On NBCS tomorrow also. Again with Lindback playing. WOOO!!
Anyways, I thought there would be a serious chance that 'Ders might play tonight and rest Rinne a day longer and play him tomorrow. But I think this just shows that even though Peks hasn't been sharp, the benefit of hoping he's on his game outweighs the possibility that he won't be.
Hey guys! Just wanted to say that I will definitely be pulling for the Preds in the West in the playoffs (and overall if the Jets don't make it).
I went on a big roadtrip last spring and the absolute highlight for me and my friend was coming to Bridgestone to see the Preds/ Canucks playoff game. You guys were so kind, passionate, and fun! The energy and atmosphere in and around that building was amazing. I still have the rally towel hanging on my wall.
You have a beautiful city and very warm people. Good luck from here on in!
8-5-4 isn't the we get our butts annihilated scenario so often portrayed around here. 58.8% of possible points. Forgive me if I leave my body armor in the storage room for this one.
They usually get shutout in national tv games they lose

Radulov with a game under his belt and can now let loose with the fans getting behind him. Gaustad back in the lineup to win those key faceoffs and give us some grit. Rinne has a big bounceback game.
I once predicted a 7-0 loss and the preds won 8-0 vs the wings
The whole "we're playing desperate teams" crap is a terrible excuse at this point. Last time I checked, every team in the playoffs is desperate so we might as well get used to it sometime soon. We need to just focus on playing our game. Our crowd will be electrifying as long as the team gives us a reason to do so. We're a better team top to bottom and top-tier teams in this league don't continue to play the way we have lately during a stretch run. Or at all for that matter. Let's just get it done.
Hey, just stopping over to say good luck. Love the way your organization has been built, it is the style I keep preaching that the Jets need to emulate. You've done a great job down there, good luck, you are for sure a strong contender in the West!
You guys have some Manitoba connections with Barry Trotz and Jordin Tootoo!
Hope to see lots of ex-Thrasher fans in the building, love for them to show their support there, they got a raw deal with the ownership in ATL, most people up here in WPG recognize that, hopefully ATL can get a team eventually again.
Anyways, good luck again tonight and the rest of the way, just try to finish 4th/5th and wipe the floor with those ****ing Red Wings in playoffs, k? I think we can all agree on that

Good luck tonight guys! If the Jets doesn't make the playoffs, I will jump on the Preds bandwagon, and I will cheer for you guys in the West anyway. Hoping for a good game!
