Kobasew makes the 4th line better.

Bottom 6 is gonna look like this tonight I'd assume:
Trollver-Duchene-Hejduk
Mc-Mc-Kob

Good luck tonight, guys. Any word on your starting lineup? Ours should be something like...

Raymond - H. Sedin - Kassian
Burrows - Kesler - Booth
Higgins - Pahlsson - Hansen
Weise - Lapierre - Malhotra

Edler - Bieksa
Hamhuis - Tanev
Gragnani - Salo

Luongo

The lack of puck handling skills and passing ability by our defenseman without EJ is glaring.

I imagine that the Canucks game plan will be to forecheck our D relentlessly, which should produce excellent scoring chances for the Nucks and completely nullify our transition game.

This is what I expected with EJ. Without him, oh no.

Avs will really need to work hard to get a win tonight. Vancouver outworks most teams. Not unlike Detroit.

Kobasew will be in tonight's lineup (Mueller scratched). Johnson will be out of the lineup. Varlamov in net. -- Sacco.

Duchene really needs to step up his game and score tonight.

It's do or die for us tonight, we need our best players to play like our best players.

Count on Ginner taking out one or more of the Canucks, probably a D-man.

Right on time.

The Avs are never going to scratch Hejduk, it's just a matter of respect at this point.

Even better! The way his hits have gone, he's due for a higher-profile guy. First was Ehrhoff and Rome, then Edler...Sedin is clearly next.

(Or Bieksa. Man would I love if Ginner hammered him.)

Come on now, we sound just as bad as the guy hoping Mueller got injured. For shame.

We really need EJ. O'Brien can only go into Orr'Brien mode for 1 game stretches before he goes into offensive meltdown mode.

Duchene better play his ass off tonight or I will personally find him and burn his hockey equipment.

You'd probably have better luck just threatening to burn his fishing equipment.
