Nearly got beat by Joey Effing Crabb and company...

The good: Cally and Fedotenko hustlin and hitting, Richards' pass to Gabby and Gabby 2nd goal, McD outskating everyone

The bad: Most of the game for the Richards-Gabby-Hagelin line, giving up a goal on the first shift after going 3-2, one or two tacky goals against the King, the Bickel-Erixon D-pair, Erixon getting manhandled physically, Erixon throwing suicide passes up to forwards

The Redden: Bickel's ECHL-class pinch leading to the 2on1 for Toronto (scoring)

Honestly, take the 2 points and seeeee ya.

At some point, you gotta think the bounces start going the Rangers way. They didn't tonight. Gutted it out anyway.

Last two day break for the rest of the season here. I half expect Tortorella to beat up on his team in one of these practices.

Richards had a pretty good game. Helluva play and pass to Gaborik on his goal

Bickel needs to learn when to pinch and when not to, cuz he has no freaking clue how to do it.

Hagelin also has to learn to get back better on defense. He's around where he should be but he's not taking the man very well

3 point lead with Pens having 1 game in hand. They play Debbies tommorow. NJ is 3-2 against Pens this season and plays them reasonably well.

i thought the rangers really outplayed toronto but toronto capitalized on every opportunity they got. i wish the rangers had a bit more scoring but i'm happy...love the team and their future.

Please don't...

Gaborik, Dubinsky, Richards, McD and Girardi had good games. Callahan had a good shootout goal. Props to the PK.

Phew. Its 2 points. We need points right now. However, this ******** with odd man rushes has to stop. Dubi redeemed himself with a goal, but he was floating in cotton candy on the first goal.

CBC showed Sather fist pumping with the unlit cigar in his mouth. Did MSG show it too? I need a GIF of that please.

To me, Bickel's pinch was perfectly fine in that situation. Dubinsky didn't cover for him and that led to the 2-on-1. Tortorella saw it the same way, which is why Dubinsky got kicked off the 2nd line from that point on.

I thought the Rangers had a REALLY rough game. But they caught a break tonight.

Their legs look completely shot, and mental mistakes galore.

But Gabs came up big, especially on that second goal. I really hope he doesn't disappear again.

Stepan had a brutal game. I don't know exactly what we can do about that.

Our D looked REALLY shaky, almost to a man. The only guy who really looked solid was Erixon.

You mean the guy who misplayed the 2-on-1 on the 1st goal and got completely beat on the Leafs third goal?

Bickle always seems to be on when they score. We are always getting beat by people crashing the net for loose pucks, I wish the forwards would track better - its not always the defenses' fault.

Hahaha I'll get that as well.

With the angle MSG showed on Cally's shootout goal I can't really see people in the stands. Did MSG show a different angle or were you watching the CBC feed?

Eh, yes and no. I do agree that Dubinsky screwed up big time by also jumping in, but Bickel did not get the puck deep when he pinched. You can't pinch and then immediately fumble the puck, and this isn't the first time he's made some bad pinches.

I think Bickel has some good potential but he needs to pull it back a little bit and not be so eager to pinch. He does it a LOT and he's not very good at it

Misplayed the 2 on 1? That goal was on Dubi. Erixon did all he could. The third goal was a lucky bounce/heads up play.
