I know it is more difficult to predict this draft but I have heard oscar dansk is a top prospect and goaltender from sweden. A side from him does anyone know any of the top projected players?

Good question, beware Ottersfan, the knights and spitfires may be knocking at your door to pry that first pick away since the OHL draft has moved up 1 month, is the import draft followed suit?
From what i have read these are the top 10 european skaters for the 2012 NHL draft.
1 Forsberg, Filip Center Leksand SWEDEN-2
2 Collberg, Sebastian Right Wing Frolunda Jr. SWE-JR.
3 Hertl, Tomas Center Slavia CZREP
4 Aberg, Pontus Left Wing Djurgarden SWEDEN
5 Pokka, Ville Defenseman Karpat FINLAND
6 Lindholm, Hampus Defenseman Rogle Jr. SWE-JR.
7 Teravainen, Teuvo Left Wing Jokerit Jr. FINLAND-JR.
8 Bystrom, Ludvik Defenseman Modo Jr. SWE-JR.
9 Prokhorkin, Nikolai Left Wing CSKA 2 RUSSIA-JR.
10 Vainonen, Mikko Defenseman HIFK JR. FINLAND-JR.
These are the top 3 goalies listed
1 Vasilevski, Andrei Goalie Ufa 2 RUSSIA-JR.
2 Dansk, Oscar Goalie Brynas Jr. SWE-JR.
3 Korpisalo, Joonas Goalie Jokerit Jr. FINLAND-JR.
Does anyone have any info on if any of these players baring the top few that have a shot at the NHL next year could be drafted and play in the CHL?
Actually if I were the otters I would draft the Russian goalie who played at the -17 tourney here in Windsor in Dec
He has trained in Detriot this past summer so he has North American connections

Erie certainly needs to look at the goaltending for next season. I have heard Vasilevski and Dansk are both outstanding net minders but Vasilevski seems to be a bit better right now. Thanks for the insight I didn't know Vasilevski had trained in Detroit so that that shows he may be willing to play in the CHL.

Actually it isnt Vasilevski I was referring to ,it was a 16 year old goalie for team Russia in the -17
tourney
He would be perfect for the Otters if they can get him over to North america

My bad for the mix up there. I will have to look into him and hopefully Erie can get good player willing to report. If Mcdavid is granted exceptional status I hope playing on his team could bring other great players to Erie as well.

Spits should trade Pavelka, Clarke for the Erie import pick.

Is the goalie you are referring to Nikita Serebryakov?
Valeri Nichushkin (F, Russia)
Ivan Barbashev (F, Russia)
Nikita Zadorov (D, Russia)
Sergei Tolchinski (F, Russia)
Nikita Serebryakov (G, Russia)
Jan Kostalek (D, Czech)
Robert Hagg (D, Sweden)
These are the top draft eligible players posted in another forum on this site. No word who would report or not but Nichushkin was absolutely phenomenal in the U-17 gold medal game and Tolchinski stood out as well. Serebryakov shut the door the entire tournament and looks to have huge potential in North America if he comes over.

These players are all ranked after 30 from the scouting reports ive seen because some CHL teams who plan to compete draft a player who is one and done much like Loktionov in Windsor. Most players drafted dont allways commit to the CHL as it is

Ya i know there are a lot of 93 and 94s ahead of them. Its very difficult to predict who will go where in this draft but im trying to find the potential top picks. Where have you seen the scouting reports?
