No it's not a "fair" offer. Far from it..

No, the Saints still need to pay him the $8million but it must all go to charity.

Broncos reach an agreement with Tracy Porter.

He'll look great opposite Champ.

Joe Namath isn't too happy about the Tebow trade.

Since 2008, he has 6218 yards from scrimmage.

Comparables:
Chris Johnson - 7071 yards, 53.5 million (30 guaranteed.)
Adrian Peterson - 6581 yards, 100 million (36 guaranteed.)
Arian Foster - 4441 yards (2.5 seasons), 43.5 million (21 guaranteed.)
Ray Rice - 6612 yards, Franchise tag, rumored to be seeking a similar contract to Peterson.

Forte is right up with those guys because of his running ability AND his receiving ability. His yards aren't far off the game's elite despite having a mediocre line at best and being literally the only weapon on his team's offense. He deserves more than what the Bears are offering, IMO.

I can't help but think his presence will cause more division. It will be interesting to watch, for sure.

It's certainly going to. Remember in Denver? The locker room was pretty split between him and Orton, up until Tebow started winning games. Orton was then sent packing.

If Sanchez gets hurt or starts to slump and Tebow gets thrown into the mix, you're going to see a lot of Jets players buy into it assuming he can win games.

Curtis Lofton has signed with the Saints for 5 years. Good signing for them, especially with potential suspension for certain players still possible and Vilma should get the most games.

i agree. i'll be so ****in pissed if the bears don't keep forte. he needs to stop whining publicly but the bears can't be cheap with him. offer him more and keep him. i don't want bush to be our starting running back. finally we address our wr problem but then we'll have **** in our backfield w/o forte.

The New York Jets. We'll talk **** about our teammates but we won't tell you who we are.

What a JOKE of a team, how anyone signs there is beyond me.

Regardless of the circumstances you don't throw your teammates under the bus to the press and not be man enough to put your name behind it.

Of course. Nothing worst than that. Those kind of teammates can kill a locker room.

Who Tebow? It should go something like this to the media

1) Thanks for making me feel as welcome as a case of jock itch.
2) Get over it the Jets wanted me here so stand behind your team.
3) Please keep your reporting truthful NY Post/Star Mag.
4) If you don't care for my religious beliefs.TFB Watch a game and every time a touchdown is scored they are thanking WHO?
5) If Sanchez is worried about my presents PLAY BETTER and no division will be in the locker room.
6) Mr Torts gave me advice the other day. He said if you don't like the media tell them to go **** yourself. Eggshells will then be walked on for the next line of dumb questions.

Any more questions ask Rex and he can tell you to go **** yourself.

Since when did Michael Bush become ####?

And Kahlil Bell has shown tremendous abilty in his limited play

2009 = 40 ATT - 220 yds (5.5 avg)
2011 = 79 ATT - 337 yds (4.3 avg) + 19 Rec - 133 yds + 1 TD

Bears are probably looking at Bell as having same skillset and being basically the same size as Forte ( Bell is 1 inch shorter + 2 pounds lighter) and thinking that Forte isn't worth what he wants

Forte + Bush would be amazing

But Bush + Bell could be good together as well

I have supported Forte all year but his 30M demands + his public whining is really turning me and many against him

Dont cry about how poorly treated you are when you are in line to get 7M+ via Franchise tag and people are losing jobs left and right

I know sports and life are different but fans dont want to hear that type of #### ,, Just like Lance Briggs and his crying last year

you are absolutely high if you think Michael Bush and Kahlil Bell are going to be anywhere near as good as Forte

If Bush is anything more than your goalline / short yardage / backup back, you have a big problem. Good for 4 yards per carry, solid in the passing game, but lacks speed for big runs and simply can't pass block. Great backup but because of his running style simply not capable to deal with the carries of a starting rb.

Khalil Bell could take up Forte's speed back role
