Sorry if I offended anyone, but ****, what did we do to deserve this endless ********? We can't even tank without getting hurt.
But getting hurt aids the tank, so people should be happy.

So, I assume the Wild have to make an emergency call up now that Cullen is out.

EDIT: Thanks Russo!

My take...

http://www.olympichockeyblog.com/sta...bufsabres.html

Sigh, I think we've seen this story before. Wild start ok, get a lead and then stop playing. 8 shots after the first period?? Koivu was certainly a stud on the faceoffs!?!? At least Charlie Coyle has provided some entertainment for this organization. This season can't end soon enough. I have a full game recap, plus a Houston Aeros report and prospect report on Coyle, Phillips, Bulmer and Lucia. Enjoy!

I know...but at least we kept pace. If we can manage to not win a single game the rest of the way, I think weve got a great shot at the #2 pick.

Matt Cullen's season may have ended in Wild's loss at Buffalo

Yeah, no real loss at this point. It should actually help the team lock up a top 5 pick, and give us hope for a lottery win...

It's really an "oh well... that's been the story of the Wild's season" situation.

I'd think Hackett will get the start.

95% sure.

Ended up watching the entire game.

Also, anyone want to tell me why in god's name the UND game was televised but the Gopher game wasn't?

Don't worry, the Gopher game will be televised when we beat you. Again.

The Gopher game was on FSN+ and would have conflicted with both the Wild game and whatever horrible basketball thing was on before the Wild game.

If Edmonton doesn't beat Columbus today, I don't know that they'll win another game this season. Even if they beat Columbus, if they lose the remainder in regulation they still won't pass us. They could possibly take one of their two matchups with Anaheim, but I don't see how they could beat Dallas, LA (x2), or Vancouver in games that matter for their opponent.

Vancouver doesn't have anything to play for at this point. They've pretty much locked up the #2 seed in the conference. I credit that fact with being the reason they did not come out and stomp us a few days ago, and why I think Eddy could possibly take em.
