Off season trade/Free agency

Rumors in Norway (kinda old) about national captain, Ole Kristian Tollefsen returing to the NHL after Preds have shown interest. He was given an offer before last season, but didn't have an exit clausul in his contract with Swedish club MoDo.

Badly google translated article: http://translate.google.com/translat...0.html&act=url

I personaly think he's a great player, tough, but also a great stay-at-home D, and an awesome team player. One of the big reasons Team Norway has stopped being beaten with double digits in international tournaments.

Highlight video of sorts (emhesizes to much on the "fighting" part of his game IMO)

If you look at our D picture for next season, I don't think he is coming over.

Weber, Klien, Josi, Blum, Ellis, Ekholm. Suter and Hillen might get resign.
Laakso and Bartley knocking on the door.
And if Suter walking we sure will sign someone proven

Just in case, a player to watch in the World Championship, if you happen to watch a game where Norway plays.

I disagree that we don't need anybody next year. If he is a big tough D man, we will need him... We are too small and too inexperienced.
And I love the way Josi plays, but he seems to be a little brittle...

Yes, but NHL caliber and at least 2nd pair D. Not someone to give it a try.
We have bunch of our own to give them a try...

He isn't that big of a longshot, being a good minute-eating defenceman in the Olympics, captain of a SEL team, and a national team that is playing alot better than their roster should be, and he's been in the NHL before.

And he's matured alot as a player since the last time he were in NA, and he's just 27 now.

Tollefsen couldn't even hack it in Columbus, whose defense is the ultimate hockey punchline. Pass.

This isn't the complete truth, he had a the few untimly injuries while he were there, the biggest one, leading to him not getting resigned. He couldn't quite crack the Flyers, that's true, and as a defenceman, he has grown alot. In my opinion, he's a much better player now, than the goon that left Grand Rapid two years ago.
