Ok, I can live with that. I can only hope that you're right and maybe something crazy will happen.

Ian Welsh is riffing the Pens game. Let's hope he screws the Pens over.

By no means do I want to play Washington if Backstrom is back.

Quote:
After missing 37 games and nearly three months with a concussion, Nicklas Backstrom took a big step forward in his recovery on Saturday morning.

The Capitalsí star center has been cleared for full participation in practice with no restrictions and Backstrom was on the ice with a dozen teammates for an optional practice at KCI this morning. This session marks the first time he has taken full part in an on-ice workout with his teammates since Jan. 6 in San Jose.

Meh...Neuvirth is a sieve. That defense is a wreck. Only history would be on the Caps side in that series.

NHL Network not even hiding their Pens' bias anymore. Just watching NHL Tonight sickens me.

"Sens beat the best team in the East"

Last I checked...no, the Pens are not the best team in the east.

Yeah, sure would be a nice gift if they could knock Pitt off in regulation.

Devils never win during the very rare instances when I want them, so I'm just marking this off as a Penguins win and hoping that the Islanders beat them in the next two Penguins' games.

. . .

watch the Devils lose on purpose to hurt the Rangers

I wouldn't be surprised if Devils fans were rooting for the Pens to win.

I agree with you though, the players want to win, they aren't going to purposely lose to hurt us. The fans may want them to though

Yeah, if it were the last day of the season or they were absolutely locked into a particular playoff spot I could see their fans rooting for Pitt. But they have 7 games left to play...not the time to be rooting against your team regardless how much you hate the Rangers. And forget about the players thinking about throwing a game to "hurt" the Rangers...that's beyond ridiculous.

No, they're going to do what the Devils do every year at these times we need them to win.

They will take Pittsburgh to OT and then lose.

Zajac might be in the Debbie's lineup. So hopefully it helps them tonight against Tanksburgh. (What am I saying?)
