I love the NFL so they would be my choice. Also it seems like the only other league along with the NHL where small market teams could compete.

The NFL. No doubt but no way an NFL team would come to Canada.

I'm going NBA. Adding one NFL team would really hurt, if not destroy, the CFL team already there and, likely, ripple through the league where as NBA would give the city something in doesn't already have. Furthermore, I think adding a second NBA team to Montreal in particular would really help grow the sport in this country. Montreal/Toronto is a natural rivalry and the NBA is already in Canada so, I assume, it would be more likely to happen the NFL and MLB has already pulled out.

I say MLB because I would love to take my son (well I hope I have a son one day) to baseball games every few weeks.

I desperately want my Expos back. If they return I will definitely move back to Montreal.

i would like them to have a team in the Lacrosse league. Like at the times of the Montreal Quebecois in 74-75.

NFL. Having a REAL chance of making the superbowl (unlike the inexistant chance of making the world series in MLB) is probably and should be the most appealing aspect of new franchise to fans.

Big Ten football. It's essentially a pro sport at this point.

But I guess MLB, though it is hard to forgive or forget what that ******* Selig and his cohorts the Lorias did to us. Haven't followed that sport since.

Though the NFL would be awesome for the real chance at winning sometimes, as uiCk points out above.

You would quickly forget about the CFL if the NFL moved here.
It's like Hamilton saying they don't want a NHL team because it would destroy the AHL team.

Obviously it's a little different because the CFL teams are not farm teams of the NHL, but the point still stands.

Mtl with a 60 000-80 000 stadium and a chance to see the best NFL athletes, absolutely.

Would be bad for the CFL, but it's an upgrade for the city and its people.

Expos, please.

I love the NFL, but I've never had a team here, and have grown quite fond of the New York Jets. It would be weird to slowly switch to cheering for a Montreal team, which I know woud happen. Baseball, though? I've loved and lost... I want them back so bad.

MLB in Montreal would make my life complete. I'd buy season tickets, and never give them up.

I'm a big NFL fan, but I already have my favourite teams. So I'm taken. That's why I'd like to have an NBA team. I'd love it. I don't have any favourite team.

Though I don't really like baseball, I really wish the Expos had never moved because maybe I'd have gotten into the sport. At this point though I would love an NFL team.

While the Expos would be a nice nostalgic thing, I don't see baseball being a viable business at that scale in Canada. However, football is surprisingly strong in Quebec, wether it's the CFL or even university ranks. I think the NFL would work well in Montreal.

However, I think you're ahead of the curve with a MLS franchise

Crap I was about to say the NFL because it would be HUGE and it's a great league but I completly forgot about the Expos!

1. Expos
2. NFL(The Montreal Metropolis!)

Basketball is my third favourite behind soccer and hockey. Can't see the NBA working in Montreal though, Vancouver deserves another shot before that ever happens.

The Expos need to come back though.
