New Taylormade Hockey sticks
Was wondering if anyone tried their sticks? For those who don't know, Taylormade is one of the biggest golf brands out there.

They're not even released yet. And it's only their club-head technology with a CCM shaft.

It will be interesting to see what "technology" Taylormade brings to the stick. It does look good though.

The CCM RBZ lol... They should've at least named their stick RPZ if they're trying to move into hockey. (RBZ = Rocketballz)

Hollow blade core means NO FOAMS. In terms of tech, that's about all that's been released.

The word 'reduce' is very vague. I'm sure it will feel different compared to other sticks, but describing how a stick feels has always been vague. I have no idea what other construction aspects the RBZ will have, at the moment, that is all that they have released.

I have been pretty loyal to Taylormade for the last 10 years but I dont see how their expertise would transfer over to hockey.

These sticks are CCM sticks, just with Taylormade tech since they are part of the same parent company.

Supposedly they developed a new type of blade where energy is stored in the face of the blade and then transferred back to the puck to add force to the shot. I'm skeptical, because unlike a golf club where the ball comes off a point on the face, the puck often travels the length of the blade on a shot.

I get the feeling that they are just using the name to try and increase sales. The market share that Taylormade carries in the golf industry is insane. Why not try to carry it over to the hockey market.

A top end CCM is cheaper than a top end Easton or Bauer. Do you mean that for the quality, their value doesn't compare?

If so, the spectators really need to be aware...
That stick is interesting, might give it a try someday if the price isn't too high.
