Lucic was playing and fighting with a broken nose at the time. Gleason popped him right on the broken nose and that was pretty much it. I wouldn't call it a bad beating by any stretch. Looch was also a teenager at the time... I'd love to see a rematch between the two, because the outcome would be very different from the first.

Douglas Murray not so much a bomb dropper as he is pure viking strength. He's up there for sure. Try to overpower that beast get thrown on your ass.

Lidstrom respects Murray's ability to bring the pain and made sure he represented Sweden

With that said Carkner is nuts. Chara has reach and is also a beast. What everybody else said

Chara draws non-euro heavys and chris neil. Not to mention the fact that he looks like a new born giraffe every fight. Carkner destroys everyone apart from orr whos got his number. It irrelevant either way because carkner, erskine and engelland are bottom 4 defencemen, john scott is an ahler or NHL sideshow and Chara is just a perennial norris trophy candidate. As a sens fan and carkner fan Id take chara back in a second.

I agree that he is tough, but I don't think he is anywhere near a level of a fighter that has tough time finding partners; if anything, he is more of a middleweight.
