Haha you mad bro? This is an ex-Habs thread. Don't come here if you don't care about ex-Habs or get annoyed by ex-Habs updates.

This is a thread for people who want to talk about it. Great part about that thread is that you can ignore it and boom......no more updates.

And for icing on the Gauthier cake, Bennie Pouliot scores a goal and has an assist.

Would have had the hat trick but Halak did not play tonight. Elliot got the shutout.

Benny Pou was more of a Martin move than Gauthier. Martin iced him out, like he iced O'Byrne, Lats and Lapierre out.

True, but Martin is gone. Kicking a fired guy just isnt as much fun.

I'll echo what others have already said, that's what this thread is for. Just ignore it if you don't want to see it.

Anyone who just comes in to ***** and moan will be removed.

Who cares about Tom Pyatt?

I don't, he was a good PKer but thats it and with the way our PK was doing this year, its all good but anyone is astonished that Tom Pyatt scored 12 goals so far this year?

Forget that, even better, he scored in his last 3 games for 4 goals.

I can't believe how he managed to do that.

He's a very solid player. I'm not that surprised - 3rd/4th line players don't peak until later offensively.

He only played 100 games in Montreal. Kid is still young.

Don't look now but Cammalleri is slowly returning to form. After getting 3 points in his first 10 games with the Flames, now has 6 goals/12 points in his last 13 games.

No mention of JT Wyman's game-winner tonight?
Tom Pyatt with the insurance goal later on.

Ribeiro, Tanguay, and Cammalleri all getting on the same scoresheet, as well, which is "neat", I guess.

Who knew switching him to center would be such a great idea.

While Bourque:

1pt in last 14 games
1 goal in last 20 games.
1 ES goal in last 27 games.
Assisted a goal once in his last 25 game.
Finished a game with "+" once in his last 27 games.

But Bourque is the better player...at least, that's what I was told when the trade went down.

I want Gauthier so far away from this team it's not even funny.

I think the Bourque trade was worse. Theyre both equally useless but we gave up a talented player in Cammy, and Bourques contract is painfully longer than Krapberles

Cammy scored but he almost cost his team the game at the end with a horrible turnover. Thankfully for him, Kipper was there. As horrible as he has been, I'll take Bourque over Cammy defensively.

I suppose this juicy info isn't hitting the statsheet anytime soon...

I believe you'll see a "1" beside Cammy's name in the Giveaway column of the "Event Summary" on NHL.com, actually. Right next to his Takeaway.

Not all giveaways lead to near goals. The logged stat doesn't tell the reader the degree of "danger" the giveaway really had.
