I wish. As much as I hate blowouts, we need an easy win for once so our heads don't explode.

The game we played against these guys last year still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Revenge Time.

4-0 w/ hank
5-2 w/ biron

I say play hank vs. Minny and Winnipeg, rest him vs. MTL, then have him close the final 4 vs. Bos, Philly, Pitt & Caps.

I'm glad to see Biron contributing on the scoring front.

I take issue with the sarcasm, brooooooooooooooooooo.

Maybe i'm saying that Biron lets in 2 more goals setting the stage for an empty netter. Ever think of that?! HUH! HUH!

Isn't St. Louis is currently the best team in the league?

The Wild are mathematically eliminated from making the playoffs, decimated by injuries, and looking to draft high. Don't expect much of a fight unless the Rangers start playing physically.

Nonsense. Everyone knows that Biron >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hank when it comes to puck handling. Therefore he will score a goal.

Last year, with the same defensive approach - the Rangers had several blowout and higher scoring games, scoring 5 or more goals 16 times last season - and that was without Richards. (and about half of those games were late in the season, so it wasn't against teams still getting their defense down, they did it all year consistently.)

This year they've only scored 5 or more 8 times, and only twice in the last 48! I'm still waiting for that shoe to drop, because they have that ability. In fact, they've probably could have scored 5 or more in a few recent games if it wasn't for insane goaltending against.
Could it be due to their style of play this year? tighter games? Not opening up and staying more disciplined? Maybe. But to me this is pretty much the same team, and if anything they have more scoring ability. (It could simply be the PP % as well 29th this year, 18th last year)

I'm hoping they'll get a couple more of those games over the next 3-5 games to regain that offensive confidence - starting with tonight, a team they beat 5-2 last season and is really beat up.

If the Rangers win their game in hand in regulation or overtime, by virtue of a game in hand they would be.

Anyway, let's hope both NY teams get two points tonight. And I'm talkin about the Rangers and the Islanders lol

5-2 loss. We end the 1st period tied 1-1. 2nd period Wild put in 4 goals. Dubinsky scores in the 3rd with a minute remaining.

I like the Wild fans, but I really hope Gabby scores a hatty. I think their collective heads would explode.

I'd much rather see the Rangers play a tight defensive game than blowout an opponent. The backchecking has been egregious and they are giving up way too many odd man rushes. This is a problem that has plagued us for about 2 months now.

Maybe he slept with a few of their wives/girlfriends. Classless!

Seems more like the guy who made their GDT has a vendetta against him the most.

Anyways, play hard, finish your checks, and hit the damn net. LGRS!!!
