There is a chance that Rinne gets hurt walking or something, but I doubt it. Expect #35 in the net

Is it confirmed Wilson is in the lineup, or are we just going on TMI's projected lineup?

Coops says Erat skated this morning and that Toots is out. I believe that's the latest.

No mention of Wilson yet, but didn't Trotz say before the Peg game that he's almost ready?

Trotz said Wilson was healthy before the Winnepeg game, medically cleared. He's being healthy scratched, at this point.

I would have assumed trotz wanted him to practice before just throwing him ou there. Besides, with a groin tweak, extra rest isn't the worst thing

Erat is out. Expect Wilson and Smith in per Coop.

I guess Yip's credit ran out...

Bout time.

The amount of time I've seen him in the lineup equates the ridiculousness of Trotz calling Spaling a top 6 forward

According to Tom Callahan, Erat and Toots both out, Smith and Wilson likely in.

Yip, guess so.

I don't think he's that bad really for a 4th liner but the fact is we're so deep that he really has no business being in there on a nightly basis. He gives his all and he works hard out there but....for a team like ours this year it's just not enough.

Rinne's starting right? Isn't time to start getting into playoff mode?

The problem with Yip is that he just sort of exists. He's not good defensively, he's not good offensively-- he just...is.

We were about due for an Erat injury, though.

You know for a 4th line player I really like Yip and his physicality....

I assume Trotz has been rotating a few players in and out to keep everybody sharp. If Yip hadn't been in the lineup in the last several games, I would have expected him to play tonight.
The Blues are physical, and frankly we aren't...

I don't think his credit ran out.......I just think this is still moving the pieces around..

I hope Klein continues to progress and empress me tonight. For people who are hating on Yip he has played his role well and i have seen other players make more mistakes than him. We could have someone worse in that role. Go back in Preds history and look. He will make a big play before this year is over, book it.

Tonight is going to be a good test. Being 4-0-1 against them this year worries me on dominance running out. Another night having the NHL network full of Preds talk if we do. Best game to get Trotz his 500 win. Come on Preds get a win against the best team in the NHL for your only Predators coach 500th win.

Even with all the new additions, he's still one of my favourite players to watch. Hope he dives into the deep end tonight and gets a goal.

I'm going to John Madden this up for my keys to tonight's game:

1.) Score some goals. The team with more goals will likely come away with the win tonight.

2.) Make some good saves. It's imperative to try and keep them off the board.

3.) Play smart hockey. Making mistakes could hurt us.

4.) Take them out of their game. Teams don't like that.

5.) Shoot the puck. You'll likely have a better chance of scoring if you shoot.

......Okay number 5 was real......

How'd you get a copy of Trotz's pregame speech?

Agreed completely. I feel like if he was in the lineup and never got hurt he would of been placed with Radu. I feel like the 2 of them together with Leggy would be better than Horny
