Thought Erixon was fine in his own right. Didn't think he needed to come out of the lineup just yet..

Agreed.

Not to mention Stralman had been atrocious the past few games he played.

Tortorella wants to get Del Zotto back to the left D position, i'm thinking.

Biron gets the Jets tomorrow, then he is a doorman for the rest of the season.

Sorry, sometimes it bees that way.

that's because Bickel overall has played well and he provides a physical element to this defence that neihter Stralman or Erixon provide.

I have no problem seeing Bickel get 12-15 minutes a night on D. He's earned it.

Minny has the worst offense in the league. Can the final score please reflect that? Thanks.

And not by just a little either.

They have 151 gf in 75 games. 5 of those empty netters. That's almost as little as St. Louis give up.

I thought I read some where that Torts wanted to get a final look at all his D, so he can figure who he wants in for the POs. I could be wrong tho.

Yes, they're extremely boring to watch. Maybe every once in a while I like it so I can relax and watch us win, but I'd take a 1-0 win any day of the week over a blowout.

I was at the Florida game where we won like 6-1 or whatever and I've never been to a more boring third period in my life.

If Gaborik can go back to his old stomping grounds in the twin cities and find his dexterity, that would be appreciated.

Biron has been dominant against the Jets this year but I can't help thinking that playing him against the league's worst offense is a better idea.

If I were a neutral observer I'd be against a blowout but I like watching the Rangers score and don't like watching the opposition score goals. I don't watch these games for them to be objectively exciting, I watch it to see the Rangers do well.

Well not scoring goals doesn't mean they didn't play well. As long as we win is really all I care about.

Yup... and you want to get them all a few games in now before they playoffs start. It's only a matter of time before you have to tap on everyone in the roster. It's important no one is too rusty.

Torts is prepping for a run

Rangers win 4-2.

The Isles are going to be sure to cough up 4 points to the Pens in the next two days. NYI is such a garbage organization. Can't wait for them to move to Kansas or East Bumble *******, Canada or wherever. They can't even touch their competition in this division. Not that the Isles are even going to try though, they want to give Pittsburgh the points just to spite us.

I think the Isles win one of the two, actually.

Hey, now. I've been trying really hard to out-bitter everyone.

Seriously, though. There was a lot of hate for Gabby last time the Rangers were in town, and I can only assume the bitterness has grown with the team's current situation. If Wild fans had any stones, we'd probably see some jerseys thrown on the ice tonight.
