Of course it does. Lots left to play (although never confident facing Miller). But it's on Holtby. None of their Dmen receive that pass.

most people love that part of holtby's game. fact is that part of his game could as easily ruin his career as make him uniquely better than his rivals.

everytime i see someone already convinced that kid should playing all the caps games from here out or the #1 goalie for certain next season, i just wait for holtby to stick the puck in his own net showing off and it always happens. maturity will do that goalie well. its a good idea to be patient and wait for it

We dont know the play there. Is he supposed to stand in the corner, flat footed, indefinitely?

If he moves up and misses the pass, at least its behind him.

I absolutely hate that part of his game. I love the attitude that it reflects, mostly. Unfortunately, that attitude probably can't ever come without at least some of the cavalier puck-handling, but I certainly hope it can be controlled a little bit.

Skilled player Tomas Vanek just cleaned Laich out of the crease with more authority than any Washington player has all season.

teams are really starting to run basic pick and roll give and go against the caps man to man defense. if they make the playoffs, its going to be a problem. hope huntsie has another idea handy

Brouwer is exhibiting the Ovechkin makes everyone better on his team. Brouwer has been moving since Ovechkin has been going.

priceless. the pass is supposed to come along the boards to stay out of trouble. holtby passed it away from the boards which is why it was such a disaster

Not sure why Hendricks decided circling in his spot would be better than skating 6 feet to the bench but fortunately it didn't kill us

Hey, Turco made a decent career and a few dynamite playoff performances. I'd take it.

Goalie interference rules are real confusing lately. Not saying that was a call, but do ya have to knock the goalie over to get one or what?
