Hope he likes playing wing.

Not just prospects. Half of our team is centers playing wing...

Haha yeah true. I actually like have two centers on each line, great for faceoffs etc. We do need another good wing or two though.

But that's why we win so many face offs!

Could also be the DW likes to pick up guys who are defensively responsible because they have experience as center. Plus in the Sharks' system the forward positions on defense are totally interchangeable so being a good two-way player is very helpful. Switching from wing to center is harder than the other way around.

Um what? Ferriero is a winger, so is Wingels, and Galiardi/Winnik prefer LW as well? Marleau is pretty much a LW now, but you can officially say he's a C. so that would make it 9/16 or 56%. Right?

No, they all played center before the NHL. Hence they are natural centers who were converted to wingers because of NHL depth.

Nice, I like his stats: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p....php?pid=99528

Anyone got any real info on his style of play?

And it looks like we can use him in the shootout too!

oleksuk is a good guy, hes got decent potential as far as NHL goes. can really do it all, had a career high in goals this yr i'm pretty sure. watched him for the last 3 yrs. sucks that the sharks traded away connolly too.
