2.40 GAA, same as thomas despite playing on the worse team in the league and 10 more games. Thought so.

Leblanc's goal was great, I think he's going to be big for us next season.

Still not happy with the point, Florida should have stole that one with under 4 min to go.

We know, It's just easier to think like that during seasons like this.

They're smart enough to realize winning meaningless games is of no benefit so they've thrown in the towel and aiming for the highest pick they can get..

The BJ's, Wild, Oilers, Leafs and maybe the NYI will have a higher pick than the Habs.

Minnesota still has a game in hand. Unfortunately, that means nothing since they are a putrid excuse for a hockey team

Magic points with 5 games remaining for Montreal:

Montreal currently has the 10th overall clinched
Winnipeg 9th - 4 points GR:6
Tampa Bay 8th - 5 points GR:6
Carolina 7th - 5 points GR:5
Anaheim 6th - 7 points GR:6
Toronto 5th - 7 points GR:5
Islanders 4th - 7 points GR:6 (+ tiebreaker)
Minnesota 3rd - 10 points GR:6 (+ tiebreaker)
Edmonton 2nd - 11 points GR:6

(The "points" is the amount of points Montreal need to lose and
said team needs to get combined in order for Montreal to clinch that seed. For an example: Montreal loses 5 points in the remaining games and Edmonton gets 6 points = 11 points, which leads to Montreal finising after Edmonton).

Leafs have a major tank advantage over us in nets: Gustavsson and now Reimer has a concussion so he won't be back.

They'll play their callup plenty for sure. Burke will have zero qualms about tanking the rest of the season and will just stop short of saying it.

Too bad, I'd love it if we landed Grigorenko. But we'll still end up with someone very good.

Just had a quick look at the Leafs board. Man you think their team is sad, you should read some of the comments. I think they're planning a mass suicide over there.

Nope, they lose because the vast majority of the players aren't good. More apparent this is the more likely there'll be changes this off season. The cherry on top is we'll get a top 5 pick. Our last top 5 pick happens to be our franchise player, go figure.

With the other teams being so bad Grigorenko won't be a Hab unless they trade up to get him. At this point staying top 5 might even be tough.

I figured they would be jumping for joy since they lost and the Habs got a point and the NYI got 2..

I read some of the comments:

Youtube hadn't been invented yet when they were last in the postseason.

And this little gem. Apple price when Leafs were last in the playoffs:

"Current AAPL price - $614.48
The day Philly eliminated us in the second round - $13.07

$100 invested then would be $4,601.52 today."

Once again, thank God I'm not a Laugh fan.

I can't wait for this season to end. The games are so boring it's unbelievable.
We actually had some decent talent to start the year, but right now it's so pathetic.

We're what, 3rd worst, with Edm a real threat to pass us. We have games against the Rags, Wash, TB, Carolina, Leafs. We will lose to Rags and Wash, and usually to Carolina espec. with Muller there now. TB is a toss-up, Leafs is looking like a surefire win.

Max 3 or 4 points to end the year. Even if we don't make second overall we are pretty much getting a top-5 pick at this point. Surely we can't screw that up, right?...Right?

Does Alfie Turcotte have a son in the draft this year?

After Yakupov, I think it's pretty much a crap shoot for the next 4 or 5 prospects. Grigs would be nice because of the Roy connection but I have a feeling Forsberg might be better. Besides there's a long time to deal between the lottery and the draft. Maybe our new GM will surprise us.

The only reason Forsberg is a more attractive option for anyone is because he plays in the Allsvenskan league and he's practically an unknown to most people here.

Where Grigs and Gally play in the CHL, mixed reports run rampant.

IMO the Habs need to play Budaj in atleast 3 of the remaining meaningless games.. With our luck they'll keep playing Price and he'll tear an ACL or MCL and miss most of next season.

I know this season is a wash but what a boring, boring game. Just awful.

We'll find out soon enough.. Everyone expects 2 losses against the Rags and Caps but everyone thought the same against the Wings and Canucks..

I wouldn't be surprised to see another 4-5 points out of the last 5 games but I'd settle for 2 at this point.
