In the video Igor goes on on how much his father meant to him: when he was just beginning to play hockey, his father had to work on 2 jobs to supply his son with up-to-date equipment. Plus Igor had a brother who also wanted to eat Even though Igor made his parents to quit working it was too late for his dad - he died not so long ago, his health took a serious blow when he was double-shifting.

Igor remembers the accident and how he refused to give up, then his mom and doctors tell about the amazing regeneration abilities of his bones: when he had fractures before, he would wear the gypsum for a few days instead of 3 weeks, then start training again. This ability probably played a big role during his recovery in 2003.

In the end his brother says that he named his own son after Igor (I suspect the little guy also plays hockey).

Ah yes. Thank you very much I never knew he had a brother. Is that his nephew in the video? Also he only has a daughter correct? And did he say anything about his time in North America?

Any news on whether Igor Grigorenko returns to Ufa next year? I see his contract runs out at the end of April?

IIRC, there was a recent rumour that Ufa will resign him for 2 years.

Oh very good. thanks. Do they ever offer details of what kind of money he is going to make on that 3 year deal? Just curious as to what kind of payout guys get who are likely to remain in the league for their careers.
