320GB, less than 6 months old, couple games. (FIFA 12, Uncharted 3, couple used titles).
Well, refurbished 320GB PS3's go for about $250. Uncharted 3 and Fifa 12 are $50 games used. With all the cords and a controller, I'd ask for $400 and expect ~$350.

There's no way anyone is getting $400 for a used PS3 and a couple games, is there?
I've had it for sale before when it was only 3 months old. I was asking $250 for the console and even more games, and I got offers like $185, max $220.

Well, you'll get what the best offer is.
But a 6 month old console with two new, $50 games should probably go for more than $220. A two year old used console goes for $250 in store without $100 in games.
Game software sales were $485.7 million, down 24 percent. NPD estimates consumers spent another $500 million to $600 million on digitally disributed games, rentals, subscriptions, add-on content and used games during the month.

Until around ~2009, the Xbox did have the better exclusives. It doesn't anymore, but it still generally gets the better multiplatform games. The controller comparison alone wins it for me - I really HATE dualshock.
Not surprising considering Itagaki left. 2010 was a good year for the beat 'em up genre and I had high hopes for this year, but so far things are not looking great.

Over the past year, entertainment usage on the 360 has grown 30 percent. All totaled, Xbox Live gold members spend an average of 84 hours a month on Xbox Live in the U.S.
To put that in perspective, the average household spends about 150 hours a month watching television

The Xbox is no longer just the domain of core gamers, either. Family content consumption has jumped 236 percent in the last year. Zune, meanwhile, has become the second largest transaction service for films, behind iTunes.
Basically they've always wanted this, it's their 'vision' - to provide the media across all platforms. While they're still small in the phone market they've been slowly gaining ground everywhere else.
