With the Jets playoffs hope slipping away...

In the west...

Nashville for Radulov/Kostitsyns/Gilly
St. Louis for Halak

In the east...

Pittsburgh for Malkin beastin' and Crosby returning
Ottawa for the underdog "WTF they're in the playoffs this year?" rebuild

Can't decide who to commit too... probably Nashville.

I like your picks.

I certainly don't want to see the Bruins back in the Finals....

Funny you mention that, I was just having a talk with a colleague at the office about him saying we never should have traded Halak. I just cant wait for this conversation to go away.

The B's are the only ones in the playoffs I don't want to win. I'm not a fan of Buffalo either but them I could put up with. Glad to see Dallas in good position to make the post season again. Any of the teams in the playoffs (with Montreal/Winnipeg out) I could see winning the cup and not being too upset.

As long as the Leafs/Bruins aren't winning I'm fine with the result

Now imagine he pulls Stanley Cup-Conn Smythe combo. You know our SC drought, all 20 years of it, will be officially Price`s fault.

I don't know why but for some reason I want the Jets to lose. I can't explain it.

Since the Habs aren't in to cheer for and the Leafs aren't in to cheer against I don't really care. Detroit has always been my number two so I guess them. Don't imagine I'll watch too much. I'll probably pick a team in a draft though so whoever I end up with in that I'll keep an eye on.

Nashville, St. Louis or the Canucks. And whoever beats the Bruins.

EDIT: Based on some reasoning in this thread, I'll be cheering for Vancouver.

Boston's opponents... or, even better, opponent with no "s"!

Halak

Pittsburgh (Crosby, Malkin, Letang)

Vancouver:

Vigneault

Nashville and Vancouver. Kind of angry at the Canucks for choking it away to Boston last year but I'd love the cup to return to Canada, and they are our brothers in Bruins hate.

I like the Blues but if Halak won a cup we'd never hear the end of it.

In the east, nobody but the Panthers are the lesser of evils.

However ABB will apply

Pittsburgh and St-Louis, though Halak fans might be disappointed; with the way Elliot is playing (3 straight SO), we might not see much of Jaro.

Oh I so wanted the Jets to cheer for.
Other than that it all depends how my playoff pool goes.
For defence I am picking St.Louis
and for offence Im going Pittsburgh.
So a Pittsburgh, St.Louis final for me and Pitt. for the cup.

Oh and Conn Smyth winner.

James Neal.

Vancouver (my current city)
St-Louis (Go Halak!)
Nashville simply because I want to watch the Kots play there, and Radu, and Gill, and Bouillon...

Me too I have the same scenario here at work!

And the guy never even watches hockey he just checks stats and tries to troll me.

I tell him that they're both studs end of debate

Nobody I root for Montreal and once they are eliminated or they don't make the playoffs, I don't care who wins.
