Ducks-Oilers match up X2 could play lots of factors for the tank. Oilers have lost to Dallas all 3 times this season however.

I like to think of it this way...Burke made the right call by allowing Carlyle the opportunity to evaluate each and every roster player and test them for compatibility to his system for next season. Think of these games as a means of weeding out those who will be staying and those who won't.

I think Burke knew the season was over the day he decided to fire Wilson. He knew damn well that this team can't change it's identity overnight and that the run and gun style failed. It must be painful to watch his team play like this right now.

The Leafs are a team built for speed and now playing a grind game, the result the worst team in the NHL and I have no illusions about that.
