people need to relax. how long has it been since his JTs team got eliminated? ever think he wants to be with his teammates and things like that. Also you cant just jump into a decision about your pro career in a instant. guy has every right to weigh his decision on where he wants to go.

How would you compare the two? I don't know anything about TJ besides what I read on HF boards. Kinda curious as to why TJ is getting so much hype league wide as compared to Read who got next to no hype if I'm not mistaken. Is TJ that much better then Read or is all the hype a direct result of Read stepping in with the Flyers and doing so well straight out of college?

One thing that is fun to see is how much good is Read if you compare him to forward's like Bozak, Da Costa and Butler who all got big hype and a lot of team's making them offers.

Well read didn't put up huge numbers in college and virtually plaid with no talent around him. He played on a small rink. How many people can say they honestly even new about Bemidji state before he was signed? Otto played here as well

@TSNBobMcKenzie: Hamilton, Ont., native and Univ of Maine college free agent Spencer Abbott has signed with TOR.

Now let's sign a better College UFA than him.

Yeah, I saw that. You were certainly not the first offender. It was an innocent mistake resulting from some momentary dyslexia, just figured people would like to know. Now, let's ****ing sign the guy.

I'd rather get Schultz than Brown mainly because Schultz is exactly what we're lacking. If Homer could get either, or both, that would be fantastic.

Better??? He leads the nation with 62 points. And at this stage in the college hockey season, no one is going to catch him.

I'd much rather have Schultz for the Flyers.

He can play this year and their forward depth is junk. That is usually all it takes to get these hyped guys.

Sigh. Once it came out that it was down to the Flyers, Bruins, and Lightning, I feared Tampa Bay would get Brown because he'd have an immediate opportunity to play there. The thing is, while he wouldn't get a chance to play for the Flyers the remainder of this season, I think Brown would be a virtual lock for next season's roster.

You can't blame him for wanting a guaranteed spot in the NHL. They may have offered more $, too.

Edit: He also burns a year of his two-year ELC by going to the Lightning.
