Dispatch Coverage as of late?

What is up with the Dispatch's Coverage as of late?

No more weekly Chats, Portzline barely tweets or does any articles. Is Portzline stepping down from CBJ coverage?

Na, I believe he was sick a few weeks ago. Maybe the dispatch has decided to move on from the CBJ this year and go with the Reds, Indians, NFL offseason, and Crew

Portzline has been on excused absence for several weeks now, I think since March 8th.. No official reason has been given but it appears to be health related based on an email I had from Arace. The CBJ reporting has not been the same since.

I read (creeped on?) his facebook page awhile ago - something about a bad case of vertigo, I believe; which can be very hard to shake.

Or, I could have dreamed that...........................

The problems began during the last road trip in Colorado, so that would make sense.

Yeah, the coverage has been meh lately. Mitchell's writing is incredibly bland and you just get the feeling he's trying to go out of his ways not to step on toes.

Porty does a good job, makes us appreciate what we have when he is ill. He is missed. Mithcell does a good job, Reed and Porty, tho, were the best combo. Give Mitchell and Porty time tho. Get well soon Porty. I met him once and he is a class act.
