Got news for you pal, he has far and away the greatest upside of any Rangers defenseman; he's the only d-man we have and 1 of a select few in the league that can handle Kovalchuk and Ovechkin on the rush and match them stride for stride. Not even Pronger could do that in his prime!

Staal has made his career out of handling Kovalchuk and Ovechkin.

McD is good, no doubt. You just continue to criminally underrate Marc Staal, though.
