Don't think it has more to do with physically as it does with just not believing in Vincour.
That seems reasonable except when I hear Gully talk about Vincour he always seems to hold him in high regard.
The most recent comment I remember was him saying Vincour has aged 5 years playing with Devo (a compliment to both players). Lately Burish has actually produced, and I think that's what it boils down too. When everyone was injured, I remember Vincour getting playing time over Burish.
He's only 21, and I think it's pretty apparent talent alone is not enough to make him an offensive impact. It's also pretty clear though that he is a very good hockey player that still has time to figure out the offensive zone to be an impactful two-way forward.
"I am not going to pass up shots for sure,” Smith said. “If I get the opportunity I am going to use the assets I have. If that comes around that’s great, but first of all I want to make sure I am not a liability on defense.”
We better win, and playing Ribeiro 22 minutes, and Morrow anything more than 13, and every other clown ice time they don't deserve because they take unneeded penalties and play undisciplined is not the way to win.
I actually want Pardy to play more than Robispare right now.

Seriously though. You take an unnecessary penalty, you lose shifts. It should really be that simple. You do something egregious like Ribeiro's turnover, you lose a lot of shifts. It's not hard. You go out and play motivated hockey and you reap the reward. These guys are the best in the world at what they do, they are absolutely capable of not taking terrible penalties.

That's why I wasn't really understanding why Gulutzan was so angry after the game Monday.
He "felt betrayed," yet didn't do a single thing to send a message in a way that he felt that way. The only thing they did was give less ice time to the players that, I thought at least, we're having good games. And the obvious Eriksson switch to Benn line change.

Giving more time to the Ryan Garbutts and Jake Dowells of the world isn't going to give you a chance to come back from down 2.

No, but neither does having the best player in the game that has already scored two goals end with less ice time than the two players that were responsible for three of the five goals against. Neither does having your 33 goal scorer out there for only 22 seconds of the final three minutes.

Benn looked dead in the third. I agree on Ryder though.
The projected Oilers lineup in the Edmonton GDT is pretty funny.
and without even looking I'd bet they're making fun of ours.
Actually then agian knowing Oilers fans (from living up here) they're so used to mediocrity that they're probably wishing they could one day have Jake Dowell playing on their 4th line
