I honestly think Hejduk's been sporting a nasty arm/shoulder injury for half of the season. I just can't wrap my head around his games sudden decline. Would getting the "C" really effect him that much? I don't buy it, and that the timing was just a coincidence.

I'd love to see him come back and find his scoring touch again. Hopefully we find out what happened... probably won't until the Avs season is dead.

It didn't make any sense for him to suddenly lose his ability to finish. His defense looked the same to me, his passing was still good. I can't ever remember an older player losing it in the middle of a season like that. He looked so good early in the season, we were all talking about him coming back for a few more years, remember that? I really hope he's not finished.

Yup, he looked like normal Hejduk for the 1st half of the season. Scoring key goals and looking great. Then out of nowhere, he can't score anymore at all? Sounds like an injury to me. If he's not hurt I'd be shocked.

At this point, you almost hope he's playing hurt. The other alternative, that he's finished, no one wants that.
