Yes, but only because I REALLY want that medallion. the 10% price hike is totally worth it.

Nope. Far too much of an increase. $3700 to $5900 for 4 seats in the second row upstairs. Gtfo.

After five years, we decided not to renew our lower bowl 10 game pack (this year we're in 119, row 11) because the rep suggested 10 game pack inventory would not be good next year and we'd have to take our chances at Select-a-Seat.

And there'll be no more guaranteed playoff tickets for 10 packs ("a couple of games per round but no complete playoff strips").

Hard to commit $1750 for uncertain seat quality and no playoff guarantee. I can get that via StubHub and Craigslist. For less money.

We did decide to buy seats (@ full price) to this year's playoffs, but unfortunately our regular seats in 119 weren't available (we're shuffling over to 117).

From here on out, at least for us, they're not saying "LUUUC"; they're saying "BOOOO".

I've been doing the 10 game weekend pack for a few years. Still deciding. It's more a case of not being sure about my finances in the coming year.

I put down the deposit for the playoff tickets, but I haven't decided. If I do, it will not be in the same seats. If there isn't anything good available, we'll be stubhubbing it next year.

My parents renewed, it was only a $2 jump for our seats.

Yeah, they really stuck it to the folks in the first few rows of the 300's.

This team is going to really have to perform in the playoffs or the Kings' brass will see a large dropoff in season ticket, if not ticket revenue period.

This is an option?

I suppose everything's negotiable.

I didn't, but not because of the increase (not sure if I would have - never really looked into its' effects on my section/seats). The timing's bad this year - gotta buy a partner out of my company by year end and need to reduce expenses big-time. Not even doing playoff tix THIS season. I went to my last Kings game until 2013 against Boston last Sat night.....sucks. Oh well, will be worth it in the future!

Too expensive of a price hike, and we travel from the high desert to go to games. Just getting too expansive with gas the way it is.

We put down a deposit. Not sure if we'll do a full season again. Might go half. Or split them or sell a bunch of them.

actually what choice do we have if we want to see hockey, this is the best team we have had in a long time and in my case the price hike wasn't real bad......totally understand the decisions of say reaper that is a lot of money............I do not understand their business model ,screw over the loyal fans that have been going thru the crap times because we are pretty sure the bandwagonners are coming back like it was the early nineties again, hope they enjoy the laker like atmosphere of those their to be seen while real fans are priced out

I was about to say the same thing... At least our rep said that we should be able to keep the same seats even if we do go with a half season instead of a full season.

I got rid of my a few years ago. Best decision I ever made. I love the Kings and hockey but I spend far less money and go to about half the games still. This season alone I've sat in a box for free 5 times (got tix for next Monday in a box too) and been given PR level tickets twice. I also bought a holiday pack and been given a few 300 level freebies. I think I've spent <$200 on Kings tickets this season.

I did buy playoff tickets on Ticketmaster the past few seasons and I don't even know if those went on sale yet but not sure if I'll go this season. I went to the game 3 debacle and I've never seen 18,118 people as depressed as that. It was a sad sight walking back to the car after that game.

I renewed, talking it over with my mom, and decided to give them 1 more year to do something on the ice. Plus my mom wasn't healthy this year and hasn't made it to a game. So hopefully next year she can go.

Good to know I'm not the only one here from the High Desert.

Instead of going to a bunch of games, I started going to just a few "good" games and spending the extra money for lower bowl tickets.

I debated for a month and finally renewed on Saturday. Have to admit the 6 game streak was a factor so I'm probably a sucker. Of course they lost as soon as I renewed - lol.

Amen that is our strategy. Single gamers here we come.

I renewed but only for the Playoffs. After that I am going to cancel. I can't afford the price hike that was given to me. I paid just over $1900 this season with a 10 month plan to pay which was just over $200 a month. Next season it was raised to over $3000 and over $300 a month. i just can't afford to pay that much of a price hike. I will cancel and use my deposit for a holiday pack and use stubhub next season for the other games I go to. Then buy playoff tickets with all the money I saved by not going to all 43 games.

I renewed and hoping I can upgrade...it all depends on how deep a playoff run (if any) they will have.

Hell no! Each ticket got raised $500 for the season. I'm not going to pay that much extra to watch Doughty suck ass.
