I'm assuming Ullstrom was sent down to help a team that is actually making the playoffs of their league.

Nabby left the Tues. game after the 2nd with a "lower body injury."

And this Grahame cat apparently hasn't played in NHL since playing w/CAR in 07-08 season.

surprised Ullstrom's returned but happy that they are supporting Bridgeport.

hoping to see:
Grabner - Cizikas - Niederreiter

That makes sense, but I'm a little disappointed because I like watching him play. He looks like he will be a big help to the team (which is obviously no longer needed this season).

The dreaded vague prognosis of "lower body injury". I heard that, but I didn't know if there was a more specific injury. I guess he won't play the rest of the season then. This is a good chance to get Montoya some games and get him back to pre-concussion form.

THE Grahame!! The amazing goalie that played with Carolina? Wow! I can't believe we signed him!!!

Seriously though, if Poulin is going to be the back up, why was Grahame signed? Hes old in hockey years, and has not played for a while. Seems pointless to me.

No, no, no, it's been pre-determined - Niederrieter can ONLY play on a line with players like Pandolfo and Reasoner.

Especially nothing related to Rick DiPietro - now that would be a diservice to the baby.

Poulin was sent back to Bridgeport according to PointBlank. Grahame is the back up at this point.

Me too, but did we ever hear why he didn't play in the third period the other night?

He had a second intermission interview with Peter.

Then we didn't see him.

Are we to assume that the team decided right then and there that they'll not take any chances and want him spearheading BPort into the playoffs???

Or did he and Capuano/Weight get into a dispute in the second intermission and with that, Snow logically sent him down?

Again, another little unexplained bleep in Islanderville. Or did I miss something?

LGI! Please win! Maybe if I said the Rangers need you to win, you would try harder?

Lol, **** them up!

Penguins really need this one if they are to have any shot to catch the Rangers. Either we come out fast or it could get ugly fast. Going to make sure I get there before puck drop, otherwise it could be 3-0 Pens before i get to my seat.

Any word on Ullstrom's or Nabby's injuries? Ullstrom can't be too bad if he is going to play at B-Port. they never said but i was wondering if it was the slash he took on the wrist which drew a penalty. He did come back and score his goal later in the 2nd period but maybe it swelled up on him. He seemed hurt at the time of the penalty but did have at least one more shift where he scored.

Accidentally I went to the Pens GDT (I did not post) and those guys are so pissed! Damn, I almost hate them more than the Rags...They are all having aneurisms (there words on what will happen if the Pens lose again to those "lowly" Islanders) Man I will be in Nassau tonight but not at the Colli, although I could swing by early and cut out later.

Anyways lets go Isles....get them Pens.

I have three boys 12 & under and I can tell you, they're cute & cuddly at first, then they get older and do mean and spiteful things-- like become Red Sox fans

Since I made that comment, I'll clarify...I was making fun of Pens fans & their hilariously disproportionate hissy fits on twitter, not the Islanders. I didn't say anything about the Islanders.

I'm actually hoping that you guys get your arena and get competitive again.

Let's see a win tonight will help the Rags in the standings and hurt the Isles draft position. Hmmmmm let's think about this......I still want a win! I always want wins.

I hate the Pens so much but they are an inch below the Rags.

Hence, I will be rooting for a loss. That is until Crosby draws another penalty by looking at the ref, until Cizikas gets a boarding call that wasn't boarding, until Staal hits Tavares from behind with no call.

Then I root for a win. I win either way.

I want a win so that Spasm's new baby witnesses it on her first day in this world. Start her fandom off on the right foot.
