Jets vs. Canes

Jets playoff hopes done, and many a eugoogoly being penned on this season.

Hopefully we can exact some revenge on the Canes after that dismal performance a few weeks back.

Start Mason so Pavs can get some much needed rest. It's almost getting ridiculous. Hope Chevy is assessing Machacek and Maxwell for next year, both have been playing to stay.

GO JETS GO

Put Mittens on the first line so he can boost his stats and his market value!

Also just for this game make Welly the 2nd line centre and Burmi the winger! See if that makes a differnce on the line.

Agreed

I don't like our chances against New York, Pittsburg, Boston or Philadelphia, but according to Sports Club Stats there is still a 0.000000545% chance we meet Florida in the first round of the playoffs. I say ride Pavs til we are officially eliminated.

Just win.
Oh, and don't get kicked by a skate.
And make sure no one hits a Canes player or there will posts on the main board calling for a 20 game suspension and one testicle.

I really hope Bogo scores a goal and jumps in celebration. The Canes fanbase would literally implode if that were to happen.

Um, why? I think he deserves a break instead of letting him play in meaningless games.

Please do not "fail for Nail" - the Jets need to win to improve on last season's standings, infuse the organization with a winning attitude and go out on a win streak.

Next season I believe we will all be much more critical of the entire organization, but let's enjoy the rest of the honeymoon period - it's been a blast. I assume that Chevaldayoff's and Heisinger's assessments are already well under way, and we should start seeing changes as soon as April 8th. I assume several players will be allowed to leave, and some will be signed to stay on. I also assume the Jets are carefully assessing the stockpiled assets in St. John's and are monitoring the draft eligible talent available come June.

The off-season is going to be almost as exciting as the inaugural season on the ice.

The Jets need to send their divisional foes a message - the play-offs may be gone, but the fire still burns. Let's stomp the 'Canes into oblivion, and then deny the Caps their berth in the post-season.

Go Jets, Go!

I hope we play a really hard fought game but lose in regulation. But hey, we tried hard. Trying hard and showing our division rivals and our fans that we haven't given up is what it's all aboot.

As much as I like getting a better pick I still think I enjoy watching Canes fans whine and cry more.

To be fair though, that Bogosian hit was the dirtiest of the season.

Jumped 5 feet at least.

Shanahan is clearly a Jets homer.

Not only that, but did you see how many strides Bogosian took in order to make the hit? At least 75 strides by my count.

And that is without mentioning how high Bogosian hit him.

And one more thing, still frame screenshots do no justice, especially when you're trying to pin point where contact was made.

I would say a minimum 2 year suspension, and that is what I would classify as minor punishment for the hit.

Getting to 80 points & Kane scoring his 30th would be a perfect Friday night in Carolina.

I also think I saw Bogosian do this to Nodl at the end:

I also heard Bogosian mutter something about Eric Staal's wife. Something like "Jordan's better". Can't really remember though.

Hit was so high that Bogo had to wear a superman cape.
