Well I've been a lurker long enough now. Its time to voice my displeasure over the abysmal season of our Maple Leafs. Tonights game was a pathetic showing by the boys leaving Rynnas out to dry throughout the game. I will say, although he allowed 7 goals, I was impressed with his play overall. On the Simmonds goal, Simmonds was allowed all the time and space he needed to put the Leafs away early. Apart from Rynnas, the play of the Leafs was absolutely pathetic. I've tried to think positive about Kessel and blindly support him as I don't think he's as bad as everyone says, BUT tonight I have seen the light. On his shift were he had his first shot in I believe 6 periods, his play proved what the fans of other teams have been saying all along. It was lazy and showed the lack of heart the teams only "star" should definitely not have considering the season he's had and the recent downfall of the team.
Overall the game was an embarrassment to me, a leaf fan as long as I can remember, and should be an embarrassment to the rest of Leaf Nation and most importantly, the players themselves as well as the rest of the organization.
The only way to describe that game is downright pathetic.

It is over for Burke, there is no way I can see after paying 2 Billion that the New Owners are going to Keep him and allow him to make more poor signings and make this team worst.
I say the sooner we get rid of our Captain the better as well.
