I am. He's nowhere near as good a player as the points he is putting up. He's Rob Brown. There is no other player who has reminded me more of Brown in YEARS. I can't wait for a dumbass team like Buffalo to sign him for a huge contract and watch him fail.

PAP on the current Islanders = Jan Hlavac on the 2000-01 Rangers.

I wish him all the best.

He has to be in the position he is in now (1st line, next to a #1 center) to put up points. Teams with PA in that position are not going to win anything

the Hawks and Ducks also gave up on him so its not just the Rangers that made this mistake

A terrible team? Dude look at our PP for most of the year... it's been disgusting.
Your right, lets get him back

Sounds like Zuccarello.

Zuccarello plays like Theo Fleury. I don't understand people saying he's soft. He is far from it. He can be more physical than Boyle at times.

That is about the same leap as people that say Anisimov is Datsyuk lite.

I love your bluntness, Jon. But yeah, PAP really isn't a good player. Maybe he could put up around 40 points on another teams top 6, but he certainly won't produce at the level he is now. I have no quarrels what so ever about letting him walk.

PAP is an AHL all-star, luckily for him the Isles are an AHL squad. In a couple of seasons, the Isles will be a lot better and you better believe PAP will not be on their #1 line and putting up 60 point seasons.

Completely agree.

This is something we see time and time again, all over the NHL. For every St. Louis and Knuble, there are hundreds of other guys who are virtually nameless.
