If it was gonna be Roy, they would not have rushed to fire Gauthier, cuz they would have already known who the new GM was and that Roy was gonna be coach. And if Roy was gonna be GM, they would have waited.

Knowing this would have put pressure on Roy, they would have accommodated him.

So we can rule out Mr. Roy. Thank goodness.

Unless he's just another outsider throwing his hat in the ring. Hard to believe Savard would be interested, since their stated goals are stability and respectability. And we know their history.

Savard himself has hardly shown respectability in his comments over the last several months, I'm surprised Molson tapped him.

I want nothing less than the next Sam Pollock (or someone who can get Zach Parise to sign in Mtl).

Why a press confrence ? Roy is in the middle of playoffs hockey and (if very lucky) could end up playing at the Memorial Cup in late, late May.

She runs a couple of spas(one in quebec city, one in montreal)

The one in Montreal is in the Crystal hotel right next to the bell centre(jonathan also lives in a condo in that hotel)

No, he did not call a press conference.

He awnsered the journalists questions about the Habs this afternoon and said he will focus on the Remparts for the remaining of the playoffs.
