Their defense is overrated. They better hope Fleury can bail them out if they continue to play average. I am not scared of the pens in the first round

It really is apparent that they have a huge hole in their D with Letang and Niskanen out.

Awesome solid performance. Hopefully it is the start of a pens losing streak!

Yup play them mutch like we did green and the caps. I'm still cautious of playing them. Seen Malkin beat us at will too many times

So what is TSN's "Highlight of the Night"? Grabovski's goal.
Whatever.

Pitt - Phil would be a great series that would be a real war. If Bryzgalov is back with minimal residual difficulty, they can play with the Penguins. I think they'll definitely be the underdogs, but the Penguins won't walk through the Flyers.

Bryzgalov is expected to practice tomorrow (Friday).
Also, tomorrow is team photo day.
Practice is at the home arena, not the practice facility.
One last stat: team record for road wins is 25 set last season. This current team has 24 with two games (both at Pittsburgh) remaining.

Bah, it was half-hearted and ineffective, just like the rest of Phaneuf's game.

I can see why they're panicking, their teams been playing like ****
- They pretty much pissed away their chance at winning the division
- They need Letang and Niskanen back
- Bylsma keeps ****ing with the lines
- And now they might even blow the 4th seed.
Also keep in mind they've been completely spoiled over the last month or so watching their team basically win every game
So this is all very foreign to them

So the last time the maple leafs made the playoffs they were taken out in game 6 in ot by Jeremy Roenick after the infamous hit on Sami Kapanen. Holy Crap that seems like a lifetime ago.

Indeed, and so are the fans
No, but seriously, if they're showing one play, how is it not Wellwood's goal? That thing was an absolute beauty of a play between him and Read.
