Thanks from a Rangers fan

Someone posted a topic in the Rangers section called the "Islanders Appreciation Thread" or something along those lines which pretty much thanked your team for beating the Penguins twice in the past week. So I figured I'd bring the thanks over here and make it personal. Thank you guys for keeping the Pens off of our tails! We appreciate it!

Rangers have taken the season series against Buffalo

3 wins and 1 loss.

Rangers beat Buffalo on 12/10/12 4-1
Rangers beat Buffalo on 02/01/12 1-0
Rangers beat Buffalo on 02/25/12 3-2
Buffalo beat Rangers on 02/23/12 4-1

More than happy to play Buffalo in the first round.

Thanks.

The 1-0 win was in a shootout and the 3-2 win was in OT. I've jumped on the "I don't want to play Buffalo bandwagon". Hottest team in the NHL. Though if we run the table (TALL task) we can have that distinction.

A win is a win.

And the only team in the east that really bothers me match up wise is the Penguins.

For some reason we just do not match up well with that team.

I'm 100% confident against any other team in the Eastern Conference.
