I mean he could have had one or two, but the team in front of him screwed him big time on this one. Made some good saves even though he seemed pretty nervous at times.

yeah i had same impression. He seemed to be very nervous, he made some good saves. but let in some cheesy ones.... maybe because he was nervouse, maybe he wasnt ready enough because of the suprising start......hopefully he get back his confidence for next game, and gets another chance.

Are leafs trying to kill their young goalies? Whats the point of playing them if the team in front of them dont's give a ****.

He was actually playing in ECHL (North America's "second division") last month. I saw him in back-to-back games in Trenton. First one was not-so-good, a 6-5 win in the shootout in which almost every shooter scored (I'd never seen that). His Reading team won because two of Trenton's guys hit the post.

Two nights later he was very impressive - stopping 48 of 50 shots.

Toronto's goaltending situation is very interesting in that there are four young goalies all vying for playoff time. Of course, the rest of the team is in a bit of upheaval too.

From the Finnish third division to the NHL in three years.
